二、完形填空
I
used
to
be
very
close
to
my
father
when
I
was
a
child.
He
gave
me
everything
I
wanted.
Whenever
I
fought
against
others,
I
would
turn
to
my
16
for
comfort.
He
was
everything
to
me.

Time
flies
like
a
bird.
As
I
got
17
,
I
became
silent
and
found
it
hard
to
start
a
conversation
with
my
father.
He
had
done
so
much
for
me
but
I
18
take
it
for
granted.

Last
time
our
school
gave
us
two
days
off,
and
daddy
gave
me
a
ride
home
on
the
motorbike.
I
was
tired
and
19
on
his
back.
Later
my
mother
said
he
was
very
happy 20
it
had
been
a
long
time
since
we
got
close
last.
Suddenly
I
felt
shamed.
I
realized
that
I
had
not
cared
about
21 a
lot
during
the
last
few
years.
The
next
day
I
stayed
in
bed
and
when
daddy
tried
to
wake
me
up
to
have
22
,
I
pretended
that
I
couldn't
23
him.
At
last
he
brought
a
bowl
of
noodles
to
my
bed,
and
said,
"Come
on,
dear,
have
your
breakfast
and
then
continue
your
dream."
I
got
so
24
with
him
for
breaking
my
sleep
that
I
shouted,
"Leave
me
alone."

As
I
said
this,
I
sat
up
quickly,
and
the
bowl
of
25
broke
on
the
floor.
Hearing
the
noise,
mum
came
in
and
shouted
at
me,
"Why
do
you
think
your
father
is
26
else
treats
you
as
well
as
he
does "

I
didn't
know
what
to
say.
Finally
I
rushed
out
of
the
27
.
I
went
to
the
pool
where
I
used
to
go
fishing
with
daddy.
A
few
minutes
later,
I
heard
the
sound
of
daddy's
motorbike.
He
worried
to
28
me,
but
he
didn't
notice
me
as
I
was
sitting
29
a
tall
tower.
I
didn't
return
home
until
10
a.m..
The
moment
my
parents
saw
me,
they
30
to
me.
Daddy
looked
at
me
with
worry
in
his
eyes.
"Are
you
hungry,
dear "
he
said
at
last.
Before
I
could
say
anything,
he
had
gone
off
on
his
motorbike
to
buy
food
for
me.

三、阅读理解
A
When
I
was
seven
years
old,
my
family
made
me
an
ant
farm.
First
,
we
put
clean
sand
in
a
thin
glass
box.
Then
we
waited
for
the
ants
to
arrive.
After
the
ants
were
in
the
glass
farm,
they
started
to
make
tunnels(隧道).
I
was
amazed
that
each
one
knew
exactly
what
to
do.
Each
had
its
own
job.
On
the
fifth
day
a
tragedy
happened.
I
put
my
face
so
close
to
the
glass
farm
that
I
knocked
it
over.
All
the
tunnels
fell
down.
Although
the
ants
were
still
alive
after
their
earthquake,
one
by
one
they
began
to
die.
I
was
scared
as
I
watched
them
give
up
building
their
tunnels
to
carry
the
bodies
to
a
corner
of
the
farm
.
My
mother
said
that
the
ants
were
dying
of
sadness
.
They
simply
could
not
stand
that
their
tunnels
were
gone.
Although
much
time
has
passed
,
I
still
think
of
that
ant
farm.
Mom
had
hoped
it
would
teach
me
about
the
natural
world
,
but
it
taught
me
much
more.
Over
the
years,
I
came
to
realize
the
importance
of
teamwork
.
Working
together
,
the
ants
were
able
to
make
an
amazing
world
for
themselves
.
I
also
learned
that
they
should
be
admired
for
their
hard
work.
But
there
was
an
even
larger
lesson
that
I
did
not
realize
until
recently:
adversity
is
a
natural
part
of
life
,
and
must
be
accepted
.
Unlike
the
ants
,we
cannot
give
up
when
we
are
sad
.
We
have
to
realize
that
if
a
tunnel
is
gone
,
we
must
building
another
.
Giving
up
,
I
say
,
is
not
a
good
choice.

Each
country
has
many
kind
people
who
volunteer
to
take
care
of
others.
For
example,
some
high
school
and
university
students
in
the
US
often
spend
many
hours
as
volunteers
in
hospital
or
old
people’s
homes.
They
read
books
for
the
people
or
they
just
visit
them
and
play
games
with
them
or
listen
to
their
problems.
Other
young
volunteers
go
and
work
in
the
homes
of
the
sick
people.
They
clean
up
their
houses

A
group
of
swans

down
to
a
beach
where
a
crow(乌鸦)
was
jumping
around.
The
crow
watched
them
with
disdain(鄙视).
“You
have
no
flying
skills
at
all!”
he
said
to
the
swans.
“All
you
can
do
is
to
move
your
wings.
Can
you
turn
over
in
the
air
No,

beyond

have
a

real

One
of

took
up

flew
up

began

flew
on

on

couldn’t
see
the
land
and
there
was
nothing
but
water
on
all
sides.
The
crow
was
making
fewer
and
fewer
comments.
He
was
now
so
exhausted
that
he
found
it
hard
to
stay
in
the
air,
and
had
to
struggle
to
keep
himself
from
falling
into
the
water.
The
swan
pretended(假装)
not
to
notice,
and
said,
“Why
do
you
keep
touching
the
water,
brother
Is
that
another
trick ”
“No,”
said
the
crow.
He
knew
he
had
lost
the
competition.
“I’m
in
trouble
because
of
my
pride!
If
you
don’t
help
me,
I’ll
lose
my
life…”
The
swan
took
pity
on
him,
and
took
him
on
his
shoulders
and
flew
back
to
the
beach.
