六、书面表达(20分)
Good morning, everyone! Today my topic is "Respect and care for our parents".
Showing respect for parents has always been one of the traditional virtues of Chinese people. However, some students often argue with their parents over small things and seem unaware of their parents’ efforts. They rarely help with housework or share their feelings, which hurts family bonds.
In my view, respecting parents means listening to their advice patiently, even when we disagree. We should also express gratitude daily—simple actions like saying "thank you" or helping cook dinner can make a difference. Remembering their birthdays and spending quality time together, such as taking walks or watching movies, shows we care.
Let’s cherish every moment with our parents and prove our love through small acts. After all, they’ve given us everything they have.
That’s all for my speech. Thank you!
