Ever since I was little, my favorite season was winter. I loved to play in the snow and enjoyed the hot chocolate. Unfortunately, winter never gave me the special gift of snow on my birthday. The snow disappeared before my birthday and started after it. The seed of receiving that special gift was deeply planted in my heart.
As I lived with my grandparents in my girlhood, I would always ask my grandmother why it didn't snow on my birthday. She would laugh and tell me I asked too many questions, and my grandfather would always smile at me affectionately, sitting beside the stove. But one day, my grandmother promised that she would make it snow when I was enjoying life to the fullest. I thanked her and asked for snow on my next birthday, but my mind was occupied with confusion. "How can you make it snow " My grandmother didn't reply but shot me a determined look. It seemed that she had already hatched(策划)a plot.
But that year, before my birthday, my grandmother passed away. I was at an emotional loss, but angry because she had promised me to make it snow. The day of my sixth birthday, I woke up and ran to my window, hoping to see just one snowflake. Unfortunately, there was no snow. I cried and cried all day because my grandmother had let me down, but my grandfather said with certainty that my grandmother would keep her word.
Before my birthday every year, I would pray but it never came. By my sixteenth birthday, I had lost all hope of getting my snow, even though I still wished for it. During my party, I had the best time ever! I enjoyed the company of my friends and family, and I was truly happy.
I was outside with a friend when she asked me if I was having a good time. I told her I was enjoying my life to the fullest. Then I saw the white snow falling all around. I became like a little child on Christmas morning as I ran around screaming and laughing. I was so excited that my friend looked at me as if I were crazy, and laughed at me. She asked me if I had ever seen snow before, and I laughed and said that I had, but that this snow was very special to me.

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Sara. She had a passion for soccer that burned brighter than any other flame in her heart. However, Sara faced a big challenge—her legs were not as strong as her friends, requiring her to rely on crutches (拐杖) for support.
Saras friends gathered on the soccer field every day, their laughter and shouts of excitement filling the air. She watched them with envy, longing to join in their games. But whenever she tried to play, the reality of her limitations would hit her hard, and she would feel a wave of disappointment. Despite this, Sara refused to let her dreams die. She loved soccer with all her heart, and she was determined not to give up.
One day, the school announced an important soccer match. Sara's heart skipped a beat when she heard the news. She wanted to participate more than anything, but she knew that many kids would doubt her abilities because of her legs. Instead of giving up to their doubts, Sara chose to accept them as a source of strength.
She began practising hard every day after school. Using her crutches, she kicked the ball with all her strength, gradually mastering the art of balancing herself. Sometimes, she would fall down, but each time, she would pick herself up with determination. Her face would be sweaty and dirty, but her eyes would shine with determination.
Finally, the day arrived. Sara's team had made it to the final match, and she had been given a chance to play. The crowd roared with excitement as she took her position on the field. Everyone cheered her on, their voices a mix of encouragement and admiration. Although Sara couldn't run like the others, she used her skills and wisdom to pass the ball, her crutches becoming her secret weapon (武器) on the field.
注意:
1. 续写词数应为100左右;
2. 请按如下格式在答题纸的相应位置作答.
In the last moments, the ball came to Sara.

There was a time in my life twenty years ago when I was driving a taxi to earn a living. I encountered people whose lives amazed me, made me laugh and made me weep. But none of those lives touched me more than that of a woman I picked up late on a warm August night.
That night, I was called at 2:00am to pick someone up. When I arrived, the building was completely dark except for one light in a window. In this case, many other drivers would just honk(按喇叭) once or twice, wait a short minute, then drive away.
But I always went to the door to find the passenger. It might, I reasoned, be someone who needed my assistance. I walked to the door and knocked. "Just a minute," answered a weak and elderly voice. After a long wait, the door opened. A small woman in her 80s stood before me. By her side was a small suitcase.
"Would you carry my bag out to the car " she said. I took her suitcase and gave her my arm. We walked slowly to the street. She kept thanking me for my kindness.
"It's nothing," I told her. "I try to treat my passengers how I want my mother treated. "
"You're such a good boy," she said. When we got in the taxi, she gave me an address. Then she asked, "Could you drive through the downtown "
"It's not the shortest way", I answered.
"I don't mind," she said. "I'm in no hurry. I'm on my way to a hospice(临终安养院). " I saw her eyes shining with tears.
"I don't have any family left, she continued. "The doctor says I should go there. He says I don't have very long. "
I quietly turned off the meter(计程器). "What road do you want me to take " I asked.

5.(2024高一下·湖州期末)阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。
One of my best friends is named Lisa. If you'd told us a month ago that one day we would need space from each other, we would have said, "It will not happen!"
But then Lisa's family won a five-day stay in a mountain cabin(小屋). Because Lisa's sister, Alana, was spending the week with her grandparents, Lisa's mom and dad said I could come along instead.
When I told my parents about the amazing invitation, my mom said, "That sounds fun, but keep in mind that five days is a long time to spend with a friend." I shook my head. "Lisa and I are just like fish and water. We're happy sticking together. Plus, the cabin is near paths where we can try snowshoeing and other outdoor activities. "
A few weeks later, Lisa and her parents and I arrived at an adorable cabin surrounded by snow-covered trees. "What a great place!" Lisa's dad said.
"It's looking a little cloudy," said Lisa's mom, glancing at the sky. "Let's hope it means snow and not rain."
As you might have guessed, the clouds did mean rain. Lots of rain. So we had to stay indoors, calling off the whole plan including snowshoeing, watching winter wildlife and other outdoor activities. "I guess we'll have to find something else to do," said Lisa.
We found a couple of board games(桌游) and a pack of cards and sat down. At first, it was fun, but we ended up playing those games for about 100 hours, stop ping only to eat and sleep!
"I can't play anymore," I said on the third day. "How about we just read by ourselves for a while "
"I have a better idea," said Lisa. "How about singing instead "
"I think a little quiet time would be nice," I said, opening a book I had brought.
"Oh, come on! Don't be boring. I'll pick the first song." Lisa started singing "Somewhere over the Rainbow."

6.(2023高一下·衢州期末)阅读下面短文,根据所给情节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。
Ryan picked up a snowball and began to polish it so that soon it was hard as a cricket ball. He smiled to himself. Now, all that he needed was a target. He walked down the High Street.
Paul was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was a skinny boy whose legs were so thin that they looked as if you could break them. He was so skinny that the other kids used to joke about him getting blown away when it was windy. He was helping old Mrs McTell by sweeping the snow off the path and putting salt down to melt the ice. He liked Mrs McTell.
Paul had his head down and was sweeping a piece of ice when the snowball struck him full in the face. He staggered(踉跄) back, put his hand to his lip and wiped off the dirt. He heard Ryan laughing and shouting names. But Paul ignored it. He had had problems with Ryan at school and did not want to stir up more trouble. He ducked down and made his way round to the back of Mrs McTell's to see if she wanted any shopping.
Bored by the silence, Ryan soon gave up and walked down to the park. It was a short-cut to home and by now his fingers were aching with the cold. The park pond was frozen over and Ryan laughed at a couple of ducks, waddling(摇摆着走) on the ice. They were finding it hard to keep balance. Quickly, Ryan picked up a stick and without thinking made his way onto the ice. In his mind's eye, he could see the feathers flying as he hit one of the ducks.
Ryan was a few yards out when the ice cracked. It sounded like gun shot across the frozen park. The ice broke into pieces before his eyes. Screaming, he fell straight down into the icy water. The ducks flew off.

Jeremy was with his father in South Africa, which was far from his hometown Wales. He rarely spent time with his father, a famous wildlife photographer. So far, he wasn't sure he liked following his dad around. The work seemed mostly hot and boring.
"Ready " Dad asked. Jeremy nodded and they climbed into the old truck. As the truck moved noisily across the rough dirt, Dad chatted with the local guide Ben. And Jeremy watched for animals.
Suddenly, there came a big crash from the car. Jeremy was shocked to find that the door had fallen off! "It might be a blessing (幸事) in disguise! Now we can see better," Dad said. Ben threw the door into the back of the truck.
They stopped near a river. Ben said he was friends with the elephants that sometimes gathered here. Maybe they'd see some. Before long, Jeremy saw a small group of elephants in the distance, moving slowly through the grassland towards the water. Dad leaped out of the truck and focused his camera on the largest elephant, whose two long teeth shone in the sun. Jeremy spotted a very young baby elephant walking between two adults. It was tiny, by elephant standards. The two adult elephants kept stopping to wait for their baby.
Jeremy watched as the group neared the river. They trumpeted loudly and flapped their large ears to cool themselves down. Then several larger elephants jumped in the water up to their ears. However, Jeremy lost sight of the baby. Where was it Then he saw. It was in water up to its eyes, holding its trunk (象鼻) up above the water. Jeremy hoped it could breathe through its trunk, because its mouth was underwater.
Other elephants were using their trunks to spray (喷洒) themselves with the cool water, splashing and playing in the water. It was an elephant party. But the baby elephant was in trouble. "Look!" screamed Jeremy. The bank was too steep (陡峭的) for the baby. It couldn't climb out of the water. Other elephants tried pushing it, without success. The mother was anxious.

It was a bright, cold, spring, Thursday afternoon. As Zack was making a sandwich, he saw his mom, Grace Garcia, step down the stairs with a sad expression on her aged face.
"Zack," Grace paused, trying to sum up her thoughts,"Ms. Savitt had a heart attack this morning." Just then, Zack began recollecting the bitter memories of living across the street from Ms. Savitt. She would always yell at him to get off her lawn and to settle down to give the neighborhood a break from all of his noises.
"Oh," Zack said, "that's too bad." Grace Garcia could tell that Zack was actually not disappointed at all. She was shocked. This was because, when Zack was four years old, his parents divorced (离婚). His father left with most of the money. At that time, Grace did not have a job, so she was left with barely any money to support her and her son. It was Ms. Savitt that kindly offered for them to stay at her house at any time. If Grace was busy, she would take care of Zack for as long as necessary. Of course, Zack was aware of this years later, but he still did not realize the importance of Ms. Savitt in his life.
Grace Garcia strictly said, "Zack, I have already scheduled for you and me to visit her in the hospital, tomorrow after school, "Grace looked at Zack and noticed that he rolled his eyes with anger.
"Do I really have to I'm telling you, mom. Ms. Savitt always got really mad at me whenever I would not even do anything. And besides, I have plans tomorrow and I don't want to waste my time going to a hospital and seeing that lady!" Zack was shocked at his own outbreak, that he didn't even want to look in his mother's eyes because he was too ashamed for treating his mom and even Ms. Savitt that way.

On Dec. 20, Mello called his mother on FaceTime, which he does every day after school. That afternoon, Mello broke down in tears the moment his mother, Anita James, answered the phone. "Mello, what happened " James asked her son on the phone.
"I'm getting tired of them bullying (欺凌) my friend about his shoes. It's making me so upset," he answered in a serious voice, explaining that his classmates made fun of his friend Melvin for having worn-out (穿破的) muddy sneakers.
James listened to Mello's narration with a thoughtful expression. Then, Mello earnestly asked, "Can we go buy him some shoes "
James told her son they would talk about it when she got home from work. During their in-person conversation a few hours later, James found her son still upset. At last, Mello decided to buy his friend a fresh pair of sneakers to get rid of bullies and remind him that he has people who care about him.
"Can I use my pocket money, or you can take something away that I would get for Christmas " Mello asked his mother.
The sincere request from her son hit James for many reasons, including that when she was growing up, her older brother used to buy her sneakers when her parents couldn't afford them. Now, in their adult lives, James buys her brother a pair of sneakers for his birthday every year to show her appreciation. James was so touched by her little boy's genuine care for his friend and she knew how it would matter to the poor kid, Melvin.
That evening, they went to a sneaker store and bought a pair of black-and-white Nike shoes for Melvin. Mello used savings from his pocket money to pay for the $85 shoes. This way, Mello thought, "nobody could laugh at him or say anything about him anymore." Mello was so excited to give Melvin the gift that he woke up nearly an hour early for school.

I was born and grew up in a small seaside town, In my childhood, I often played on the beach with my elder sister, chasing (追逐) the waves and enjoying the seaside scenery (风景).
One sunny summer afternoon, my sister and I were playing on a big rock quite a distance (距离) from the beach. We were so happy that we didn't notice the water rising. When we decided to go back, we were shocked to find that the rock had almost been covered by water and there was no way back to the shore. Meanwhile, the wind blew harder and harder. We got into a panic (惊慌),waving and shouting crazily towards the shore. Suddenly, i slipped (滑) and fell into the sea. My sister reached out her hand to catch hold of me. However, she could not stay still, and slid off the rock into the sea, too.
"Help! Help!" We cried. I could feel my body tingling (酸麻) as I tried to breathe for air. I attempted to swim back to the rock, but the water was too deep and the waves were too strong. What made things worse was that the rough water made it almost impossible for anyone to hear our cries. Tears mixed with the water as I struggled in the sea. My sister, although using all her strength, wasn't able to pull me in. Instead, she was being pushed apart from me by the big waves. The two of us, scared to death, kept crying.
Luckily, two boys playing on the beach happened to see us. They quickly found a stick nearby and approached us cautiously (小心地),hand in hand. They tried to pull us ashore with the stick (木棍). But the stick was too short for us to reach. Worse still, the wind was getting so strong that the two boys were rocked from side to side, unable to stand steadily. Eventually, they had no choice but to go back to the shore to look for other people to help us.

One summer afternoon, when I was about eight years of age, I was looking at a beautiful rainbow that, bending from the sky, seemed to be losing itself in a thick wood about a quarter of a mile distant.
"Do you know, Gracie," said my brother, who was just recovering from a severe illness, weak and tired, "that if you should go to the end of the rainbow, you would find there precious treasures "
"Is it truly so " I asked.
"Truly so," answered my brother, with a smile but a very serious face.
Now, I was a simple-hearted child who believed everything that was told to me; so, without another word, I rushed out toward the wood. My brother called after me as loudly as he was able to, but I did not take any notice of him.
I cared nothing for the wet grass, on and on I ran. I was so sure that I knew just where that rainbow ended. But when I reached the cedars (雪松林), the end of the rainbow was not there!
Abruptly I saw it shining down among the trees a little farther off; so on and on I struggled, through the thick bushes, till I came within the sound of a stream. I reached the bank of the stream, and I could see it a little way off on the other side. I crossed the stream on a fallen tree, and still ran on, though my muscles were aching and my knees shaking.
Suddenly I met in my way a large porcupine (豪猪). I ran away from him as fast as my tired feet would carry me. In my flight and hurry I forgot to keep my eye on the rainbow, and when, at last, I remembered and looked for it, it was nowhere in sight!
When I saw that it was indeed gone, I burst into tears, for I had lost all my treasures, and had nothing but muddy feet and a wet and torn dress. So I set out for home.

Richie and her husband, Pooh, decided on visiting Cape Cod, a beautiful sea town, which is about three hours drive from the city of Boston. Their daughter who then lived in Salem close to Boston insisted that she would pick them up. But they were confident of their sense of direction and not wanting to trouble her, so they refused her offer. They decided to take their journey in their own car and started early in the morning.
After a three-hour drive, they arrived in Cape Cod and started their new discovery with a road map of the town and its suburbs. Since there were many places to see, it took them the whole day to finish their sightseeing.
Now, they were visiting a suburb with shops selling handmade items. Richie was most interested in shopping, while Pooh warned her to finish before it started getting dark. They were so absorbed in their shopping that they forgot about the time until the shops began to close.
They took the same route back. Pooh had a very good memory and a keen sense of direction and so Richie just blindly followed him, without knowing where they were heading to. Soon they found themselves just going round in a maze, realizing they got lost on the way.
They had to stop the car, referred to their map, and started again. After some time, they realized it was no use trying and finding their way back. Their mobile phones had been dead for hours, and it was impossible to contact their daughter. Having no other option, they decided to ask someone for help, but being a Sunday, the roads were empty, with no people walking around or cars passing by. They were getting worried and terrified with each passing minute. The darkness and panic filled Richie's head with horrible thoughts "Would they be robbed or attacked "After hours of waiting silently in the darkness, they decided to try again.

Jenny was very nervous. She had a swimming competition in the morning and could not sleep. She tossed and turned all night. She was no stranger to competition. In fact, she loved it. Jenny was very athletic and was not only part of a swim team, but a soccer team, as well. She even won a soccer championship with her teammates last year. But this particular swimming competition was important. She had made it all the way to the finals and didn't want to let her teammates down.
When her alarm went off at 6: 00 am, she hit the snooze button and rolled onto her side, wishing she could just stay in bed all day. Having slept so poorly, Jenny was not at all ready for the day. After a few minutes, she stretched her arms above her head and yawned before throwing her covers back and climbing out of bed.
She was terribly anxious about the competition, so much that she couldn't even eat breakfast. It felt as though she got butterflies in her stomach. Jenny's mother looked concerned. "You have to eat something," she said. "It's important to keep your strength up."
"I know, I'm just not hungry this morning," Jenny replied, picking at her eggs with a fork. All she could think about was facing the competition. What if she performed poorly What if she disappointed her coach and teammates She wouldn't be able to forgive herself.
Jenny's mom sensed her daughter's worry and gave her a comforting pat on the back. "You'll be great, dear. Just do your best. That's all that matters."
Jenny felt a bit of relief and appreciated her mother's kind words. But by the time she got to the athletic club where the swim meet was being held, that feeling of comfort had disappeared. She went to the locker room to prepare for the competition.

I frowned as I watched the movers (搬运工) packing things into our space vehicle. It was bad enough we had to move, but to Mars. I was hoping to get a puppy (小狗)this summer, not a one-way ticket to a planet of red rocks.
"I know you're disappointed, Cassie." Mom said. "But I've been offered my dream job. And the rocket is first-class. We can travel Co Mars in eight days instead of eight months. We'll come back—finally."
As Mom went to answer a worker's question, I sat and pulled grass from the ground. There was no grass on Mars, I thought. Or flowers. Or animals. There's almost nothing alive on that red wasteland! If only Mom wasn't an aeronautical (航空)engineer and Dad wasn't a climatologist (气象学家). If they were roologisls, we could stay on Earth and hang out wilh animals!
Mom called, saying the vehicle was readyfor launch. I walked slowly behind my parents. If only I had a puppy, then maybe moving to Mars wouldn't feel so awful.
The flight was fast! Soon we reached the red planet. Several of my parents' scientist friends welcomed us to space. We took a quick tour of the laboratories and everyone talked about things I didn't understand. Then, we paused at a door. Everyone stopped speaking and looked at me. Mom touched a button on the wall.

"Open this one!" Chloe cried, handing her older sister a package from under the Christmas tree.
Laila opened it. "Cute," she said, pulling out the velvet (天鸦绒)pillow Chloe had made. "It'll match my dorm room."
"I sewed it without help," Chloe announced. "And look, I put two special pockets for you to put…"
But Laila was distracted. "That reminds me," she interrupted Chloe. '*Mom, can I take the sewing machine (缝纫机)back to college with me I'm helping with costumes for a play."
As Laila and Mom chatted, the pillow fell to the floor. Chloe stared at it. Would the pillow end up in the giveaway pile Would the time spent sewing be ignored
Her throat tightened. "I'm going to the kitchen to get more cider," she mumbled.
For most of Chloe's life, what had seemed fun to Chloe had been pesky (讨厌的) or babyish to Laila. But after Laila left for college, things changed. She often phoned Chloe complaining how hard it was to be away from home. But now she was treating Chloe like the pesky little sister again.
"There you are!" Mom said, rushing into the kitchen. "We're due at Grandma's in 30 minutes. We'll have to open the rest of the gifts later."
Chloe quickly changed her clothes, sneaked the pillow out to the garage and stuffed it into the giveaway pile. The specially chosen photo of the whole family in one pocket would never comfort Laila when she was homesick.
For the rest of the day, Chloe's stomach felt as if it had a rock in it. Laila had spent the whole holiday with the grown-up cousins. She'd hardly said a word to Chloe! Well, the next time, Chloe would simply ignore her when Mom asked her to answer Laila's phone.
"Where are you going " Laila asked as Chloe headed upstairs. "To my room," Chloe said coldly. "But you still have a gift under the tree!" Laila reminded her. Chloe shrugged. Laila grabbed her hand and pulled her to the living room. She handed Chloe a package. "I'm pretty sure you'll like it."

16.(2022高一下·慈溪期末)阅读下面短文,根据所给倩节进行续写,使之构成一个完整的故事。
It was my twelfth birthday, and what I really wanted was a new bicycle. But I knew my family couldn't afford one.
A new bike was just a dream, so I wanted a nightstand(床头柜). I figured that at least I would have a safe place to keep my private things. So I asked my parents for a nightstand with lockable drawers (抽屉).
We went to the secondhand furniture storeand found an old, dark brown nightstand. It didn't look too cool, but at least it had drawers that I could keep locked. I decided that I would paint it to make it look better.
After we took it home, I was getting ready to paint it. When I pulled the drawers out, I felt something stuck (卡住)at the back of the bottom drawer. I reached in all the way to the back and was surprisedto find a bag.
When opening the bag, I realized that there were some papers in it which were some kind of official-looking documents (文件). And beneath were a bunch of dollar bills! Talk about finding a treasure! And on my birthday!
I went ahead and read the papers, which turned out to be a will (遗嘱). Some old lady was leaving her savings to her son and grandchildren. The old lady must have died and nobody knew the money. Her family donated the nightstand to the secondhand furniture store and it was now in my hands.
I counted the money, over 1,000 dollars in total. I was going crazy. With this money I could buy the coolest bicycle. I could even buy bicycles for my younger brothers. Maybe I could also get ray parents a car.
What a dilemma! I could keep it and get all kinds of things for myself and my family. Or I could give it all back. **Somebody helps me with this!" I begged. But I really didn't need anyone else to give me the answer. I already knew right from wrong. I decided not to fail this test. It was a test of honor-my honor.

1.Paragraph 1: Curious about my reply, my friend asked, "Why was this snow so special " I was still bathed in the ecstasy of seeing the snow, without even hearing my friend's question, just exclaiming out aloud, "Snow! I see it!" It was when my friend tapped on my shoulder that I realized I lost control of myself and was immersed in this blissful world. I explained with my choking words to my friend that my grandmother who had died several years ago kept her word to make it snow when I lived my life to the fullest. Seeing that snow was like seeing my grandmother and her long-awaited gift. At that moment, a surge of nostalgia rushed into my mind and I couldn't help bursting into tears. My friend, standing beside me, comforted me in her reassuring voice and suggested me going back home to share the delight with my grandfather.
Paragraph 2: Hearing my friend's advice, I decided to head for my grandfather's home. When I opened the door, what greeted me was my grandfather's affectionate smile as usual, which deeply tugged at my soft heartstrings. Without thinking twice, I instantly threw my arms around him, poured out my sentiment of missing for my grandmother and shared the pleasure of seeing the snow. My grandfather stroked my head fondly and then withdrew an elaborately-packed gift from the drawer. Inside, nestled in white paper, was a crystal snowflake with a card that read, "Happy Birthday!" Confused, I asked my grandfather how this could be. He explained that it was my grandmother's final wish to give it to me when I lived my life to the fullest. At that moment, surrounded by the warmth of family and the magic of the falling snow, I realized that while my grandmother may no longer be with us physically, her love and legacy lived on in our hearts, forever etched in the delicate dance of snowflakes.

参考作文 For the next two hours, we drove through the city. I took her through familiar streets, showing her places where she might have spent time in her younger years. We passed by landmarks, parks, and old buildings, each evoking memories for her. Occasionally, she would point out a place and share a brief story or memory associated with it. Her voice was soft and reflective, and though she spoke little, it was clear that each location held a special significance for her. We spent the time reminiscing about the past, and in doing so, I felt like I was helping her relive moments of joy and love before she reached her final destination.
I did not pick up any more passengers that day, driving aimlessly, lost in thought. The city seemed quieter and more reflective, mirroring my own mood. The experience had touched me deeply, and I found myself contemplating the fragility of life and the importance of compassion. As the sun began to rise, casting a warm light over the streets, I realized that the simple act of kindness I had shown her had created a lasting memory for both of us. I hoped that her final moments would be as peaceful and comforting as the drive we shared.

Possible version 1
Paragraph 1:
But I soon found that my troubles had only begun. I lost my way! I was shivering with cold, with my empty stomach rumbling. The night wind howled ruthlessly, nameless creatures murmured in the dark and the moonlight shone weakly on the ground. Filled with fright, I dragged my exhausted body inching forward. Eventually, I sat beside the stream, my arms and legs aching. Regretful for my simple-minded behavior about the missing rainbow and treasures, I burst into tears again.
Paragraph 2:
At last I heard my own name called. The voice came from distance, but I could figure out it was my brother. "Here! Here!" I shrieked at the top of my lung.
