1教学目标
1语言知识目标:
elephant, snake为学生已知,本文初步感知和认读核心词汇zebra, giraffe,等。能理解拓展词汇:amazing, cool, great, guess在情境中运用核心句型:What are they? They are ... 在情境中熟练运用句型 What are they? They’re ... They have ...They can …描述自己喜欢的动物。
2语言技能目标:
理解掌握核心词汇,会用简单的句型描述动物。 能用核心词汇和句型来表述自己喜欢的动物的体貌特征。
3学习策略目标:
通过故事的形式推进语言,以模仿朗读、儿歌吟唱、对话表演等方式巩固语言知识。 通过图片、视频和音频等多种方式呈现语言,以交际对话、模仿表演等方式内化语言。
4情感态度目标:
在语境中了解动物的体貌等特征,体会动物的可爱之处,并知晓在动物园内不能随意给动物喂食。 能够表达对动物的喜爱的同时善待动物。
2学情分析
二年级学生活泼好动,爱模仿,爱表现自己,对英语学习有很高的兴趣,有较强的英语表达欲望。在此前,学生已经掌握What’s this/that? It’s a…,Is this/that…? Yes. /No, What do you see? I see…句型,学过chick,duck,cow,pig,bear,tiger,monkey,frog,rabbit,bee等动物词汇,以及yellow,red,white等颜色词汇。
3重点难点
1教学重点是理解掌握核心词汇,在语境中运用句型。 2教学难点是名词单复数的读音和句型 I don’t like。二年级学生对名词单复数的读音和使用还不够熟练,句型 I don’t like则是第一次出现,对中下层学生来说达到熟练使用有难度。
4单元设计整体思路和依据
由于课本内容比较简单,为了充分调动学生积极性,我根据学生实际情况整合教材资源及其它课程资源,确定第一课时的话题为In the zoo和At home,整合Let’s talk和Let’s learn两个部分,对文本进行解读与再构。初步感知和认读zebra,giraffe,elephant,snake等,并建立音、形、义联系。能理解拓展词汇:amazing, cool, great, guess。初步感知理解句型:What are they? They’re ...。
5文本再构
第一课时,本课时分In the zoo和At home两个场景。第一个场景讲的是Alice和Eddie去动物园,由于Alice第一次去动物园,很多动物都不认识,通过小朋友来帮Alice认识动物,并了解的各种动物的颜色、习性和特征等。通过描述颜色特征的句型They’re …以及课文中的主要句型What are they? They’re…来认识动物,通过I like / don’t like ….来表达自己喜好。第二个场景At home, 通过Alice和她的弟弟Tommy分享动物园的照片来展开话题。三岁的Tommy还没去过动物园,对动物很好奇,姐姐Alice告诉她动物的习性和特征,激发Tommy想要动物玩具,Alice答应带Tommy去玩具店。为第二课时In the toy shop做铺垫。
第一课时文本再构:
Scene 1 In the zoo
Alice: Look! They are brown and yellow. What are they?
Eddie: They’re giraffes.
Alice: Wow, amazing! I like giraffes. I want to touch them.
Eddie: Stop, Alice. It’s dangerous.
Oh, no! My cap! I don’t like giraffes.
Scene 2 At home
Tommy: Look! They are black and white. What are they?
Alice: They’re zebras
Tommy: Wow, amazing! I like zebras
I want to buy a toy zebra
Alice: Ok, let’s go.
6教学过程
活动1【导入】组织教学及复习 
1.播放let’s go to the zoo歌曲,让学生跟唱。
2.老师说It’s big. It has big ears等让学生猜一猜这是什么动物,并进行分组--大象队和蛇队评价,让孩子初步认识amazing.
Wow, great.

活动2【讲授】新知识的呈现与归纳 
1.提问:Do you like animals? Alice and Eddie also like animals. Today they go to the zoo. But Alice goes to the zoo for the first time. She doesn’t know many zoo animals. Let’s help her.引出本单元的主题 animals I like以及本课时的话题 In the zoo.
目的:设置情境一Alice和Eddie乘坐小火车参观动物园。并通过师生问答,引出本单元主题以及话题。
2.(1)放马蹄声,问问题: What’s that?
What color is it?
(2)然后用一首chant来教授生词zebra。
Z, z, zebra,
zebra, zebra, zebra
It’s a zebra.
Lovely, lovely zebra.
目的:通过听动物的马蹄声和动物的颜色,激发学生的学习兴趣,同时引出新知---zebra。
3.ppt出示许多斑马的图片,让孩子有视觉上的冲击,
从图片中感受”Wow, amazing! So many zebras”,自然导入新句型:They’re zebras.
目的:PPT 显示许多斑马的图片,让孩子从图中感受新知,并在对话中学习核心词汇zebra和新句型They’re zebras.
4.观看各种动物:引导学生问问题:What are they?让孩子在图片中感受新知What are they?
用各种方式让孩子操练主要句型:What are they? They’re….
目的:通过 Alice还看了其他不认识的动物,让学生告诉她,从而复习旧单词并学习新句型:What are they?
5. 让孩子观看图片,引导学生问:What are they?

They have…
They can…
目的:从看图,听声音各种方式让学生说出喜欢各种动物的理由,再次感知I like和I don’t like背后的理由,了解各种动物的习性They can…They have…They are…,更巩固了新知识What are they? They are….。活动富有童趣,形式多样能激发学生的学习兴趣,更让孩子不知识机械操练句型。
6.观看故事第二段的开头:
(1)让学生猜测第二种动物。
(2)用一首chant来教授生词giraffe。
Giraffes, giraffes.
What do you say?

giraffes.
(3)提问关于长颈鹿的颜色与身高等。What color are giraffes?
目的:创设情境 二:长颈鹿长得高,只看得到脚,看不到头,应用句型合理提问。同时,在这里学习核心词汇giraffe,并且复习和巩固句型what are they? They’re …
7.观看故事第二段的结尾,即能与长颈鹿做什么。问:Does Alice and Eddie like…s ?Can we touch the animals?并告诫小朋友在院内千万勿乱投食物给动物。
目的:新文本对话,学习描述喜欢某种动物的理由, 并给出合适的情感教育,在动物园里不要碰动物。
8.播放录音让学生跟读、引导学生分角色表演、让学生分组读、同桌练习和个别展示。及时给予评价:Wow amazing! Do you like their show? Are they loud?
目的:呈现文本再构,让孩子通过听跟读、齐读、小组分角色读感知文本内容。
活动3【活动】新知识的巩固与活用 
1.出示整个故事的文本,让学生边听边看文本。
创设情境三:Alice回到家,迫切想跟三岁的弟弟Tommy分享刚拍的动物照片。三岁的弟弟没看过动物,很自然会问出本文句型:What are they?合乎情理。同时,Alice对Tommy 介绍动物的特征等,巩固了本文的语言点。通过Tommy的喜好I like zebras I want to buy a toy zebra.对第二个课时In the toy shop做好铺垫。让学生整体感知故事,再次深化故事线索。
2示范,然后让学生根据PPT内容,帮助Alice和Tommy的完成对话。
Tommy:Look! They are black and white. What are they?
Alice:They’re zebras
Tommy:
Wow, amazing!
I like zebras 。
I want to buy a toy zebra
Alice: Ok, let’s go.
目的:借助PPT,对话是这节课的语言输出部分,也是PPT的语义功能的体现。
3示范做动物谜语
They are amazing. They are long. They have no legs They can crawl.. What are they?
目的:老师做动物谜语,让学生感知整合所学的句型。
活动4【作业】作业布置 
1用所学句型做动物谜语
2选自己喜欢的动物,根据文本创编对话。
