Step 1 Review
Review the words and sentence patterns about occupations in Section A with the flash cards.
Step 2 Lead in
Ask and answer between the teacher and students according to the real situations, and lead to the new sentence patterns. Learn and master the new word “work”.
Step 3 Presentation
1.Learn and master the new sentence patterns “Where + do/does + subject + work? Subject + work/works + workplace(in/on a/an+…).”
2.Learn and master the new words and phrase “hospital”. “on”, “farm”, “drive”, and “on a farm” .
3.Practice the new words and sentence patterns with the flash cards.
Step 4 Practice
1.Listen to 1a and fill in the blanks, then check them.
2.Listen again and repeat, imitating the pronunciation and intonation .Finish 1a and 1b.
3.Listen to 3 .Let Ss finish it alone, then check the answers.

SectionB 说案
一.教材分析
SectionB是第二个话题的第二课时。主要活动是1a和2。通过Kangkang和Maria的对话,呈现了表达工作场所的新句型:“Where does he/she work? He/She works in ...”,同时复习巩固有关职业的表达“What does he/she do? He/She is a ...”。此外,本课还将学习构词法,了解动词变相应名词的基本规则,扩大学生词汇量,降低词汇学习的难度。学生在Section A中已经学习了有关询问职业的表达法,因此,在Section B中进一步学习关于询问工作场所的表达法应该难度不大,但是有一些工作场所的英语单词表达,可能学生还不是很熟悉,因此教师应该在对话操练中给予学生适时的帮助,帮助他们顺利完成对话操练。同时在学生总结动词变名词的构词法时,应给予适当的指引和补充,帮助学生更好地了解构词法。
二.教学思路
通过图片复习上节课学过的职业的名称及询问职业的句型,由单数到复数。在复习过程中提醒学生注意复数形式的变化。然后由本人职业及工作地点导入本节课的新内容,即询问工作地点的句型。再通过一些图片展示不同的工作及相应的工作地点,让学生练习这一句型,通过练习使学生能够较熟练的掌握一些常见的职业的名称及相应的工作地点,并提醒学生注意个别特殊的地方,如:在农场用on a farm而不用in a farm, 用in an office而不用 in a office. 然后完成1c。完成1c后对常见的一些职业名称及工作地点作个小结,接着完成Part2部分,并对构词法进行讲解。对1a部分内容进行挖空处理,当作听力训练,通过上面对询问工作及工作地点的练习再做1a与1b部分,对学生来说应该比较容易,不用花多少时间来完成。完成1a与1b后接着听Part3的听力,完成连线并写出相应的职业名称。Part4 部分作为学生的课后作业去完成这一表格,并让学生写一篇介绍其中一位同学家长的职业的小短文,第二天上交。课后作业部分的布置:1.复习本节课学习的内容。2.完成同步练习册。3.预习SectionC.
