in

car

Tourism,
however
is
the

largest

income;

of
the
Europe’s
leading
tourist
attraction.
Transportation
The
River
Seine
plays
an
important
role
in
the
city’s
water
transportation.
Paris
is
also
a
major
rail,
highway
and
air
transportation
center.
The
city’s
subway
system
was
opened
on
July
19,
1900.
A
total
of
six
million
people
were
transported
per
day,
while
the
system
itself
