“kind” 在此做可数名词,表示“种类”。用单数(kind)还是复数(kinds)取决于之前的用词:
each/one/every kind of animal. 每一种 / 一种 / 每一种动物。
all/many/other kinds of animals. 所有 / 许多 / 其他种类的动物。

Point
“How many” 与 “How much” 都可以用于“询问数量”,
后面接的名词的形式有差异。
“How many” + 可数名词复数形式 。

“How much” + 不可数名词。
How much apple juice do you drink every day
你每天喝多少苹果汁?

Point
“Count” 在此做不及物动词,表示“数数”这个动作。
主要短语有:count up to 数到;count down (to sth.)倒计时。
She can count up to 10 in English. 她可以用英语数到10.
She counts down to the big day.
她在倒计时等待这个重要日子的到来。
“Count” 也可做及物动词,表示“计算总数”。
Please count the total number of your classmates.
请计算一下你们班同学的总人数。

another adj. 另一;behind prep. 在…之后
Point
①another
1)“another”表示三者及以上中的“再一,另一”个,后接单数名词。
I don’t like this one. Please show me another. 我不喜欢这个,再给我看一个吧。
2) “another”后还可以接“数词+名词复数”,这时是把“数词+名词复数”作为一个整体来看待的。
She has to stay here for another ten days. 她不得不在这里再呆十天。
②Behind
“behind” 在此做介词,表示在……后面、背面
Stay close behind me. 紧跟在我后面。
