满分30分)
A
A
drunken
burglar
in
the
Orrell
Park
area
of
Liverpool,
ended
up
leaping
out
of
a
window
after
a
10-year-old
girl
asked
him
to
prove
he
was
a
superhero.
The
drunken
thief
who
pretended
he
was
Superman
to
stop
a
child
raising
the
alarm
has
been
caught
after
he
leapt
from
the
apartment
building
in
his
pants
to
make
the
girl
convinced.
Thief
Ethan
Adamson,
25,
told
police
that
he
had
broken
into
a
fifth-floor
flat
after
a
drinking
party,
believing
it
was
empty.
But
he
was
horrified
when
the
owner’s
10-year-old
daughter
woke
up
while
he
was
there.
From
his
hospital
bed,
the
thief
told
reporters,
“To
keep
her
quiet,
I
told
her
I
was
really
Superman
and
I’d
soon
be
flying
off
back
to
my
secret
headquarters.”
“She
called
my
bluff
(向…摊牌)
and
told
me,
‘If
you’re
Superman,
show
me
you
can
fly
or
I’ll
scream’.
“I
had
no
choice
so
I
stripped
to
my
pants
to
look
more
like
a
superhero
and
went
to
the
window.
I
saw
another
roof
below
and
I
thought
I
could
make
it
but
it
turned
out
to
be
a
lot
further
down
than
thought.
I
know
it
doesn’t
make
sense
but
it
did
to
me
when
I
was
drunk.”
Police
later
found
him
on
the
roof
in
just
his
yellow
pants,
covered
in
cuts
and
bruises(淤青)
after
a
neighbor
heard
his
cries
of
pain.
He
now
faces
seven
years
behind
bars
for
burglary.
Police
spokesman
Frank
Armado
said,
“He
was
in
quite
a
serious
state
and
couldn’t
move
until
we
got
up
there
using
ladders.
He
was
treated
for
his
injuries
and
we
got
him
some
fresh
clothes,
before
taking
him
to
hospital
where
he
is
being
kept
under
guard
until
he
is
well
enough
to
be
arrested.”

B
Mosquitoes
have
an
extraordinary
ability
to
target
humans
far
away
and
fly
straight
to
their
unprotected
skin.
Regrettably,
mosquitoes
can
do
more
than
cause
an
itchy(发痒的)wound.
Some
mosquitoes
spread
several
serious
diseases,including
Dengue,yellow
fever
and
malaria.
Over
one
million
people
worldwide
die
from
these
diseases
each
year.
New
research
now
shows
how
mosquitoes
choose
who
to
bite.
Mosquitoes
need
blood
to
survive.
They
are
attracted
to
human
skin
and
breath.
They
smell
the
carbon
dioxide
gas,
which
all
mammals
breathe
out.
This
gas
is
the
main
way
for
mosquitoes
to
know
that
a
warm-blooded
creature
is
nearby.
But
mosquitoes
also
use
their
eyes
and
sense
of
touch.
Michael
Dickinson
is
a
professor
at
the
California
Institute
of
Technology.
His
research
shows
how
these
small
insects,
with
even
smaller
brains,use
three
senses
to
find
a
blood
meal.
Michael
Dickinson’s
team
used
plumes—a
material
that
rises
into
the
air
of
carbon
dioxide
gas
into
a
wind
tunnel.
They
then
used
cameras
to
record
the
mosquitoes.
The
insects
followed
the
plume.
Then,
the
scientists
placed
dark
objects
on
the
lighter
colored
floor
and
walls
of
the
tunnel.
Mr.
Dickinson
said,
at
first,
the
mosquitoes
showed
no
interest
in
the
objects
at
all.
“What
was
quite
striking
and
quite
surprising
is
that
the
mosquitoes
fly
back
and
forth
for
hours.
These
are
hungry
females
and
they
completely
ignore
the
objects
on
the
floor
and
wall
of
the
tunnel.
But
the
moment
they
get
a
hit
of
CO2,
they
change
their
behavior
quite
obviously
and
now
would
become
attracted
to
these
little
visual
blobs
(斑点).”
This
suggested
to
the
researchers
that
a
mosquito’s
sense
of
smell
is
more
important
in
the
search
for
food.
Once
mosquitoes
catch
a
smell
of
a
human
or
animal,they
also
follow
visual
signals.
24.What
do
mosquitoes
mainly
use
to

their

A.

of
smell
B.
Sense
of
touch
C.
Sense
of
sight
D.

brains
25.The
first

It’s
hard
to
find
Alice
Munro
in
the
media.
Even
after
she
won
the
2013
Nobel
Prize
in
Literature,
the
Canadian
writer
just
appeared
for
a
quick
interview
and
then
dropped
out
of
sight.
On
Dec
29,
she
still
didn't
seek
the
spotlight(聚光灯)when
she
was
named
one
of
the
five
Women
of
the
Year
by
the
Financial
Times.
In
Munro's
eyes,
ordinary
lives
always
hide
larger
dramas.
So
she
records
what
we
casually
think
of
as
the
everyday
actions
of
normal
people.
She
often
focuses
on
life
in
her
hometown,
a
small
village
in
Ontario
which
she
is
most
familiar
with.
She
writes
about
the
ordinary
things
in
the
village-fox
forming,
trees
filled
in
the
Ontario
wilderness,
poor
country
alcohol
and
long
last
illnesses.
Above
all,
she
talks
about
girls
and
women
who
have
seemingly
ordinary
lives
but
struggle
against
daily
misfortune.
She
has
a
special
talent
for
uncovering
the
extraordinary
in
the
ordinary.
These
are
ordinary
people,
ordinary
stories,
but
she
has
the
magic.
Her
precise
language,
depth
of
detail
and
the
logic
of
her
storytelling
have
made
her
stories
inviting.
Runaway,
one
of
Munro’s
representative
works,
is
a
good
example
of
her
writing
style.
One
of
the
stories
centers
on
the
life
of
an
ordinary
woman
Carla,
who
lives
in
a
small
Canadian
town
with
her
husband
Clark.
The
story
slowly
forms
a
picture
of
Carla,
trapped
in
a
bad
marriage,
her
unhappiness
building
into
desperation
until
she
decided
to
flee.
The
story
of
Carla
is
a
story
of
the
power
and
betrayals
of
love.
It
is
about
lost
children
and
lots
of
chances
that
we
can
all
find
in
life,
There
is
pain
beneath
the
surface,
like
a
needle
in
the
heart.
Since
she
published
her
first
collection
of
short
stories
in
1968,
Munro
has
won
many
awards,
with
the
Nobel
Prize
being
her
biggest
honor.
On
Oct
10,
2013,
the
Nobel
Prize
committee
named
Munro
the
“master
of
the
contemporary
short
story”.

Joy
isn’t
so
hard
to
find.
You
can
even
find
joy
in
the
tiniest
things

a
funny
text
from
a
friend
or
a
beautiful
sunny
day

because
it
adds
up.
Soon,
you
won’t
have
to
stop
and
smell
the
roses
because
you’ll
be
smelling
them
all
the
time.
So
learn
to
enjoy
the
small
things
in
your
life.
They
stay
busy.
Being
busy
doesn’t
mean
living
under
much
stress.
39.
It
means
having
something
to
look
forward
to
every
day.
Start
a
hobby.
Fill
your
weekends
with
your
hobby.
Remember,
living
your
life
to
the
fullest
is
up
to
you.
40.
When
in
doubt,
choose
kindness.
Positive
people
look
on
the
bright
side,
sure,
but
they
also
tend
to
pay
it
forward
by
passing
on
their
positive
energy
to
others.
Giving
is
generous,
but
it
also
makes
the
giver
feel
even
better.
Now
that’s
a
win-win.
Be
kind
to
others
and
others
will
treat
you
in
the
same
way.
And
your
days
will
be
much
better.
A.
It
means
filling
your
life
with
good
activities.
B.
They
celebrate
small
things.
C.
They
are
kind.
D.
They
do
something
for
fun.
E.
Kindness
is
most
important.
F.
Having
activities
to
expect
will
make
you
happy
every
day.
G.
But
not
all
of
us
were
born
to
be
positive.

M
:
Pizzas

burgers.
.
.
I
used
to
eat
ice
cream
before
going

I
know
that’s
the
reason
I
can’t

No

M:
Sure,
Hop
in.
W:
Uh
.
Excuse
me,
how
long
does
it
take
to

there
M:
Well,
that
all
depends
on
the
traffic,
but
it
shouldn’t
take
more
than
twenty
minutes
for
the
average
driver.
And
I’m
not
average.
We
should
be
able
to
get
there
in
less
than
twelve
minutes.
W:
OK.
Uh,
do
you
have
any
idea
how
much
the
fare
will
be
M:
Oh,
it
shouldn’t
be
more
than
18
dollars,
not
including
a
tip,
of
course.
W:
Oh,
before
I
forget,
can
you
recommend
any
good
restaurants
downtown
M:
Well,
the
Mexican
restaurant,
La
Fajita,
is
fantastic.
W:
Sounds
great!
How
do
I
get
there
from
the
museum
M:
Well,
you
can
catch
the
subway
right
outside
the
museum.
There
are
buses
that
run
that
way,
but
you
would
have
to
transfer
a
couple
of
times.
And
there
are
taxis
too,
but
they
don’t
run
by
the
museum
that
often.
W:
OK.
Thanks.
(Text

W:
OK,
let’s
take
a
look
around
the
shopping
mall.
I’ll
tell
you
who’s
in
fashion
and
who’s
not
in
fashion.
Now,
there’s
an
example
of
after-school
style.
Check
out
that
guy
in
the
orange
shirt
and
the
yellow
jeans.
Are
those
in
fashion
Sure
,
that’s
the
new
look
this
season!
OK.The
guy
with
the
short
pants
needs
fashion
lessons.
His
Hawaiian
shirt
is
so
out
of
style.
It
looks
like
he’s
going
to
the
ocean
for
a
barbecue
party.
This
is
a
shopping
mall,
not
a
beach.
Now,
do
you
see
the
girl
outside,
next
to
the
tree
over
there
She’s
wearing
a
short
skirt
and
a
pink
sweater.
Her
blouse
is
white,
and
that
goes
with
anything.
She’s
very
fashionable
and
she
knows
it.
This
time
next
year,
all
the
girls
will
copy
her
style.

example
of
how
not

dress.

girl,

the
jeans
Are
jeans
out
Out
Never!
But
those
jeans
have
holes
in
them.
No
one
wears
holey
jeans
anymore.
And
the
sleeves
on
her
T-shirt
are
too
loose.

that
fit
tight
to
the
body
are

newest
style,
not
the
loose
kind.
