take them home.”
“But I want these seashells,” Betty said unhappily. “Each one is a different shape and size. They are all

Suddenly, David saw the water rising along the beach. He shouted to Betty, “The waves (海浪) are about to

Made-in-China products were really great at the 2024 Paris Olympics! High-tech products helped athletes
do their best. Let’s see how “Made in China” impressed the world.
For example, the table tennis table is amazing. When you touch it, it feels like smooth ice because of a
special high-tech material. There are chips (芯片) in the table that can show colorful lights. They make a cool
atmosphere for athletes when they come in and after matches. China also provided 35,000 table tennis balls. The
table tennis balls are also made in China. Before they go to Paris, they have to pass 15 checks, like checking if
they are round, hard enough, the right weight and have good elasticity (弹力). Only a few balls out of every 100
are chosen for the Olympics.
Chinese companies didn’t stop there. They made sports equipment for wrestling, boxing, judo, cycling, and
gymnastics. A special camera technology called “bullet time” was used in beach volleyball and tennis. This
allowed audiences to watch slow-motion replays clearly, just like in action movies.
Even the mats (垫子) had surprises! The wrestling and judo mats from China used smart chips for the first
time. These chips can tell how strong and fast athletes are when they move.
Outside the stadiums, Chinese creativity shone brightly. On July 14, there was a fireworks and lighting
show in Paris to celebrate the Olympic flame coming. There were 1,100 drones from China. And more than 50
good LED screens for the Paris Olympics are from China.
Fans also loved Chinese-made souvenirs (纪念品). About 80% of the Olympic mascot (吉祥物) dolls
(“Phryges”) were made in China. Cheering sticks and other products from China were popular in gift shops too.

Major tourism platforms in China have used AI technologies, while some provinces and cities have
launched their own AI-powered tourism service platforms with unique features. On some popular tourism
platforms, tourists can give simple instructions, such as asking about must-visit attractions for a three-day trip to
Shanghai or planning a 15-day tour in Canada focused on natural landscapes. AI usually gives helpful answers
within minutes.
Liang Jianzhang, CEO of Group, said the company’s AI model offers smart services before,
during and after their trips by using high-quality and real-time data. “AI solves 80% of user questions in minutes,
cutting trip-planning time from 9 to 6.6 hours,” he explained.
In the past months, Guizhou and Shanghai have introduced AI assistants (助手) for travelers. Guizhou’s
“Huang Xiao Xi,” a digital guide in traditional clothing, creates personalized travel plans in just a few seconds and
allows users to order local food with one click. “Hu Xiao You,” a smart tourism system used in Shanghai,
provides real-time updates on traffic at tourist sites, public transport, nearby shops, and even toilet locations.
试卷第 9 页,共 14 页
Museums are also using AI. Wearable smart guides provide more affordable private tours than human
guides. With new tools like virtual reality (VR 虚拟现实), augmented reality (AR 增强现实), and 3D technology,
users can “talk” to historical figures, “interact” with cultural relics (遗迹), and watch ancient paintings come to
life.
Gan Chunhui, a researcher in Shanghai, believes AI brings new ways of working in tourism. Instead of
replacing traditional jobs, China uses technology to improve them. For instance, AI improves cultural experiences
while protecting local heritage (遗产).
61.What can AI tourism platforms do according to Paragraph 1
A.Replace human tour guides completely.
B.Provide personalized travel suggestions.
C.Offer free travel plans to different companies.
D.Only answer questions about cities in China.
62.How does Paragraph 3 support its main idea
A.By giving examples of AI tools for tourism in different cities.
B.By comparing modern tourism with the traditional one.
C.By describing how tourists from different cities share their opinions.
D.By discussing challenges brought by AI in tourism.
63.What can be inferred about AI in museums from the article
A.It makes visiting museums more expensive.
B.It replaces all human guides in big museums.
C.It helps visitors experience history in a lively way.
D.It shows more pictures than real objects.
64.What is Gan Chunhui’s opinion about AI in tourism
A.It replaces traditional jobs with technology.
B.It makes China rely too much on technology.
C.It learns from user feedback to offer better service.
D.It protects cultural heritage while improving traditional industries.
65.What would be the best title for this passage
A.AI Makes Tourism Smarter in China
B.The Rise of Online Travel Agencies
C.Planning a Perfect Trip to Shanghai
试卷第 10 页,共 14 页
D.Why Traditional Tourism Is Disappearing

Mount Tai has long been famous for its beautiful views. The mountain attracts millions of visitors every
year. 66 They have to take more than 7,000 steps to get to the top of the 1,545-metre-high mountain!
Earlier this year, some of those mountain climbers received help from exoskeleton robots (外骨骼机器人).
67
Weighing just 1.8 kilograms, this robot locks around the waist and thighs (腰部和大腿). It uses AI that can
sense the user’s movements and help prevent his legs from getting too tired.
“ 68 Once I put it on, my legs didn’t hurt anymore. It felt like someone was pulling me uphill,” a
68-year-old tourist said after trying on the device.
69 A single charge (充电) can support a distance of around 14 kilometers. For those who want to
fully enjoy the natural beauty of Mount Tai without choosing the cable car (缆车), this robot is undoubtedly a
good choice.
According to reports, the exoskeleton robot is not limited to Mount Tai climbing. The robot can be used for
many activities like hiking, running, daily walking and going up and down stairs. 70 The exoskeleton
robot is expected to be introduced to the market between late March and early April. Once officially in use, it will
