③On a hot, sunny summer afternoon,a group of excited children gathered around the pool, dressed in colourful swimsuits, ready to begin their swimming lessons.Devi stood in the crowd, unremarkable, her eyes filled with anxiety and fear. “I really can’t swim!Everyone’s going to laugh at me!” she thought to herself, wanting to curl up and die.Devi huddled with a towel over her shoulders, too awkward to see others’ excellent performance. Then came the time for Devi to have a try.Scanning around,Devi spotted her instructor across the pool, together with the kids who jumped into the water like fish leaping into the ocean. She watched in amazement, feeling her ears going red.At the moment,a little girl passed by and asked her not to be scared,a flush of embarrassment soon creeping to her checks. She hung her head in embarrassment.④Seeing Devi’s hesitation, the little girl held her hand even more gently, offering her more encouragement and support. With the little girl by her side,Devi breathed deeply, closed her eyes, and allowed herself to be gently pushed into the water by her instructor. At that moment,Devi felt a sense of freedom and joy she had never experienced before. She understood that daring to try could indeed make her better.

Then came the time for Devi to have a try.
Scanning around,Devi spotted her instructor across the pool, together with the kids who jumped into the water like fish leaping into the ocean. She watched in amazement, feeling her ears going red.At the moment,a little girl passed by and asked her not to be scared,a flush of embarrassment soon creeping to her checks. She hung her head in embarrassment.
④Seeing Devi’s hesitation, the little girl held her hand even more gently,
offering her more encouragement and support. With the little girl by her side,Devi breathed deeply, closed her eyes, and allowed herself to be gently pushed into the water by her instructor. At that moment,Devi felt a sense of freedom and joy she had never experienced before. She understood that daring to try could indeed make her better.
