Ⅰ.阅读理解
A
The first spacecraft to visit China’s Tiangong space station in 2024—the Tianzhou 7 robotic cargo (货船) ship—has been launched, according to the China Manned Space Agency.
Tianzhou 7 became the 12th spaceship to visit the Chinese space station.Pang Zhihao,an expert on space exploration technology who has worked at the China Academy of Space Technology for decades, said that the Tianzhou 7 transported living necessities and work materials to the Tiangong to support the ShenzhouⅩⅦ and ⅩⅧ mission crews (成员).
“Starting from the Tianzhou 6,our cargo vessels now have more inner space and thus can contain more things for the crew,so launching three cargo ships is enough to support a two-year stay in orbit for astronauts,”he said.“Our Tianzhou series has been well developed and improved, and can be fully relied upon.”
The Long March 7 rocket to lift the Tianzhou 7 was transported to the Wenchang centre in late December and then underwent prelaunch checks with the cargo ship. The Long March 7 model is a rocket developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology. The rocket has a height of 53.1 metres,a core-stage diameter of 3.35 metres, and a liftoff weight of 597 metric tons. With six 120-ton-thrust engines, the launch vehicle can send 13.5 tons of things to a low-Earth orbit or 5.5 tons to a sun-synchronous (太阳同步的) orbit.
On the afternoon of January 12,the Tianzhou 6 cargo craft moved out of the Tiangong space station and started a period of solo flight. The space agency said the Tianzhou 6 would fall back to Earth soon, and most of the spaceship would burn up during reentry, and a small amount of debris (碎片) was expected to fall into secure areas in the South Pacific Ocean.
1.How many spaceships have visited the Chinese space station before Tianzhou 7
A.6. B.7.
C.11. D.12.
2.What does Pang Zhihao think of Tianzhou series

Funding of $2 million has gone to researchers developing a new type of solar sail as part of NASA Innovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) programme, which backs projects that have the potential to transform future missions.
Traditionally, solar sails work by reflecting sunlight — each particle of light that bounces off the thin, shiny material gives a small amount of power to the craft. One big limitation is that if you want to move in any direction other than directly away from the sun,you have to rotate (旋转) the entire sail,so such craft aren’t particularly flexible.
Amber Dubill at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland and her team have developed a solution to this disadvantage. They are working on a sail made of a diffractive (衍射的) material, one that can bounce light in various directions without having to be rotated. It does this via tiny ridges (脊) in the material; the direction of which can be changed by running an electric current through the sail. The resulting sail would have a rainbow appearance.
When the light bounces sideways,it would push the entire spacecraft to the side rather than directly forwards.“Even a small side way kick turns out to be significant when you’re trying to push in a direction that would be difficult or impossible to do by physically rotating the entire sail,” says NIAC science adviser Ron Turner.
Dubill and her team have proposed a mission on which to use their new solar sail. The spacecraft would use this new sail to get to a polar orbit around the sun and observe its top and bottom, which is difficult to do with traditional spacecraft.
The researchers plan to test various materials for how well they work on the sail and in space, while also developing tracks and instruments for the solar mission. If all proceeds without a hitch,at the end of the two-year NIAC award the team will be ready to send a group of spacecraft around the sun.
5.What’s the disadvantage of the traditional solar sails
A.They are not efficient to rotate to the direction needed.
B.They can only be made to reflect a small amount of sunlight.
C.They are made of heavy materials that are hard to carry.
D.Even with a small move, you have to turn the whole sail.
6.What can we know about the new solar sail
A.With it spacecraft would reach a polar orbit.
B.It can do part of work of the traditional sail.
C.No ideas have been made about the access to it.
D.Scientists plan to use one material on it.
7.What does the underlined part “proceeds without a hitch” in the last paragraph mean
A.Is designed. B.Keeps up.
C.Goes well. D.Fails finally.
8.What’s the best title for the text
A.Advancing Rainbow-Coloured Solar Sail Project
B.Making up for the Shortage of Energy in Space Tour
C.Transforming Sunlight into Power to the Craft
D.Working Principles of Rainbow-Coloured Solar Sail

Refresh your bedroom
Whether you would like to change the theme of your bedroom or just want to give it an updated look, you don’t need a big budget to make it happen. 1 .Here’s how you can get started.
Clear out the mess
Before you start freshening up your space, take a look around to see what you have that you could give away to someone who could use it.Ask an adult for two bags or boxes, one for items you want to donate and one for anything that can go directly in the trash. 2 .
Think about light
One simple room update that has a big impact is turning up your lighting. One idea is to hang inexpensive LED string lights on a wall. 3 .Moving other lighting devices from another part of the house to your room, with permission from an adult, can also add soft lighting to your space.
 4
Another inexpensive change that can have big results is paint.Ask an adult if they’re willing to help you paint an accent wall in your room.An accent wall is a good chance to take a risk with color since it’s only one wall. You can choose to paint the wall behind your headboard or even a closet door.If you don’t want to paint, you could check out wallpaper whose colors match your room.
Add personal touches
5 .You can ask a parent for any spare picture frames(框架) or pick some up together at a thrift shop or craft store.Print out photos and frame them for display. You could also frame your own artwork to hang on a wall or lean it against a dresser.
A.Consider color
B.Green your space
C.Or you could try a lamp on a nightstand or desk
D.Personalize your room with photos of family and friends
E.With a few smart strategies, you can give your room a whole new feel
F.Add new colors and patterns to liven up the look and feel of your space
G.Once your room is neat, you can see what kinds of changes you might want to make
Ⅲ.完形填空
