Unit 1 Here’s to our friendship!
【课标分析】
Module8unit1是九年级下册最后一个模块的第一个单元,讨论的话题是My future life, school life and friends, 即将毕业的学生对这些讨论要素充满了好奇和兴奋。新课程标准要求九年级学生有较明确的英语学习动机、积极主动的学习态度和自信心。能听懂有关熟悉话题的陈述并参与讨论;能就日常生活的相关话题与他人交换信息并陈述自己意见;能与他人合作,解决问题并报告结果,共同完成学习任务。此次教学设计从同学们英语学习的实际出发,设计了与生活息息相关的话题(毕业生晚会),遵循初中生认知发展的规律,让同学们能张开嘴大胆去说,在参与活动,完成任务的过程中体会到学习英语的乐趣,实现英语的灵活运用和自由交际。
【教材分析】
Module 8的主要内容为运用宾语从句和定语从句来描述毕业生晚会上的对话和写作毕业晚会上的发言。从全书来看,本模块是对八年级下册Module8和Module9宾语从句和九年级上册Module10定语从句的总结和运用,着重强调宾语从句三要素和定语从句的引导词使用,让同学们通过课堂学习活动来掌握其用法。另外此单元是初中教材的最后一个模块的第一单元,学生通过参加毕业生晚会讨论自己毕业后的计划,畅想未来人生,使同学情谊得以升华
【学情分析】
通过整个初中阶段的英语学习,学生已储备了大量的词汇和短语表达,九年级下册本身就是对前面五册内容的复习,本模块是本学期的最后一个模块,语法知识重点是回顾宾语从句和定语从句,而且本模块的话题既符合学生的认知水平,又与学生目前即将毕业状态相一致,能随时引发学生对话题的共鸣,因此,在教学中随时随地以学生已有知识和课本为出发点,灵活组织对话内容,充分调动学生想要表达自己职业理想的积极性,多层次设计话题,尽最大可能激发学生想要表达对未来生活憧憬的欲望。

Teaching Procedures:
Step 1 Warming up (2MINTUES)
Look at the picture and talk with partners about the following questions:
1. What is the special event?
2. What is everybody doing?
设计意图:通过一曲英文歌What if来热身,让学生讨论关于毕业晚会上都在做什么来引出本课话题,起到热身作用。
Step 2 FREE TALKS (2 MINUTES)
1. Will you wear beautiful clothes to take part in the party?
2. What do you want to say at the school-leavers’ party?
设计意图:关于毕业晚会演讲中的话题,学生可以自由讨论应该感谢谁,起到很好的感情升华。
STEP 3 Look and say. The teacher shows the pictures of new words and let the students to say as quickly as possible. (3 MINUTES)

设计意图:两段听的素材,先听一段Betty and her mother的短对话,可以让学生首先适应听力素材,两个小问题的设定,让同学们了解Betty要去做的事情。然后再听Activity3一篇长对话完成设计的4个简短问题,学生可以对整篇对话有很好的了解和把握。
Step 5 ENJOYS THE VEDIO AND RUSH TO ANSWER THE QUESTION (3 minutes):

设计意图:带着问题去看关于这篇对话的flash,可以让学生有更好的了解在毕业生晚会上斯文主人公都做了什么,有目的的看,更形象直观地了解文本内容。

Step7 Language notes (3 minutes)

设计意图:通过与同学交流表达自己的梦想,可以让自己的梦想更加坚定,让同学友谊更加深刻。

宾语从句
(1)宾语从句是陈述句。无论主句是陈述句还是疑问句,宾语从句都必须使用陈述语序,即“连接词+宾语从句(主语+谓语+……)”句式。连接词用that在从句中没有实际意义。
(2) 宾语从句是一般疑问句, 连接词用If/whether 表示“是否”
Do you know if Sally Maxwell has arrived?
(3) 宾语从句是特殊疑问句。特殊疑问词做连接词,在句中充当相应的成分。
Can you tell me where you are from?
设计意图:从课文中合作找到重点句型,并且迅速识记,顺便引出宾语从句,复习巩固宾语从句的运用表达,使知识点得以总结升华。

课后反思:本节课是初中教材最后一个模块的第一单元,主要复习巩固词汇和宾语从句的运用,通过在教学设计中层层递进的引导和练习,学生逐步掌握了用英语表达即将毕业的心情和对未来生活的规划,通过一系列的练习和任务,学生的英语学习积极性又提高了,小组合作精神也在做任务的过程中得以体现。但是,通过上课我发现,在引导学生挖掘教材这一方面还做得不够,还是只局限于课本上这些话题,并没有展开深讨,希望在磨课的过程中,自己的课堂驾驭水平更上一层楼。
