Family rules help children learn what is and isn’t OK in the family. Following them can help children learn to follow rules in other places, so it’s not good to make rules too late. Good family rules are easy for children to understand.

On Sunday Mom starts giving us some rules. Clean your rooms twice a week. Be ready for dinner at 7:00 pm. That means sitting at the table with clean hands. Take out the rubbish (垃圾) on Monday morning before school. Clean the bathroom on Saturday.

Hello, everyone! My name is Lingling. I’d like to share my wonderful trip to Wuhan with you.
On National Day, my family drove to Wuhan. It is a large city with a long history and beautiful scenery (景色). It is very hot in summer but it is very cool in autumn in Wuhan. On the first day, we visited the Yellow Crane Tower (黄鹤楼). It stands by the Changjiang River and there are many famous poems (诗歌) about it. We stood in line for a long time because many people came to visit it. The next day, we visited Hubei Museum. We learned a lot about the art, history and culture (文化) of the city. In the evening, we took a ship and watched the light show along the Changjiang River. It was wonderful. On the third day, we went to Hankou. It is a good place to shop and eat. There are many stores and supermarkets in Hankou. My parents bought a watch and a T-shirt. My sister bought a dress. I bought a beautiful fan for my best friend. I believe she’ll like it.
