一、2022英语新课标
《义务教育英语课程标准》(2022年版)指出:基础教育阶段英语课程应全面贯彻党的教育方针,落实立德树人的根本任务。应发挥核心素养的统领作用,以主题为引领选择和组织课程内容,践行学思结合、用创为本的英语学习活动观,注重“教-学-评”一体化设计,引导学生在英语课程的学习中发展语言能力、培育文化意识、提升思维品质和学习能力。
基于此,《义务教育英语课程标准》(2022年版)提出要推动实施单元整体教学。
教师要构建由单元教学目标、语篇教学目标和课时教学目标组成的目标体系,使学生逐步构建起对单元主题的完整认知,促进正确态度和价值观的形成。
教师要以单元教学目标为统领,组织各语篇教学内容,规划系列教学活动,实施单元持续性评价,引导学生在学习过程中逐步建构对单元主题的认知,发展能力,形成素养。
二、单元主题分析
本单元主题属于“人与社会” 范畴中的“社会服务与人际沟通”这一主题群,涉及子主题“志愿服务与公共服务”。本单元旨在让学生认识到生活中常有难以了解全貌的事情发生,初步培养学生遇事坦然面对并根据已有信息做出合理推测的能力。
三、单元目标分析
学科核心素养与课标分析:
本单元围绕“推测物品归属”展开,核心句型是用情态动词must,could,might和can't表示推断。并复习了与话题有关的物品名词,表达观点的动词,然后引入“神秘事件”这一话题,集中呈现与学习表示推断的相关词汇。接下来由疑似外星人事件的讨论逐步过渡到对巨石阵的介绍,是对前边所学知识的巩固、拓展与提高。本单元内容丰富多彩,有的非常贴近学生的日常生活,有的能激发学生的好奇心和想象力,有的能扩展学生的知识面,开阔他们的眼界。
四、单元学情分析
九年级的学生,有了一定的英语基础和语言学习能力,语言感知能力较强,这是英语学习的优势。但同时,学生在学习上出现了分化现象,有的学生英语语言基础薄弱,语言拓展的运用能力比较差,而且在学习过程中缺乏耐性。鼓励学生积极学习,激发学生学习的兴趣。同时辅以灵活多样的教学设计和丰富的活动设计,鼓励学生深入语言实践,渗透学法指导并引导学生逐步养成或巩固原有的良好的学习习惯。关于用情态动词进行推测,前边内容早已涉及过,学生在学习这部分时一定会感到轻松,话题与学生生活密切相关,学生学习英语的积极性比较高;关键是要通过语境中的例句让学生明确各情态动词表示可能性的大小。 关于物品的归属,以前学过用物主代词表达。本单元呈现了belong to的新句型,可以很好地丰富学生的语言表达。

单元教学思路
思路一:本单元的功能与话题部分内容,与学生实际生活紧密联系,围绕“做推断(Make inference)”这个语言功能项目,通过使用实物和图片“谈论物主”引出情态动词表示推测的结构。采用合作探究学习的方式,巧妙设计的各项听说任务活动,通过结对练习、小组讨论、角色表演等形式进行大量的听力和口语交际活动。要求学生能在创设的情境中反复操练情态动词表示推测的结构。然后通过对周围奇怪的声音的不同推测和对神秘的巨石阵的谈论,让学生在合作学习的过程中体会情态动词表示推测的用法,学会运用情态动词表示推测的结构对生活中各种事物和情况进行推测。
思路二:对本单元的语法教学,采用情景教学法,设置情景呈现单元语法结构,利用“猜猜他们在做什么”、“寻找主人”等各种任务活动,采用合作探究学习的方式,训练目标语言和语法结构。通过结对练习、小组讨论、采访活动等形式进行口语交际活动和大量的听力训练,学习情态动词表示推测的结构。
思路三:本单元阅读教学有两个重点:一是理解和掌握运用情态动词表示推测的结构;二是连词和连接短语的用法。在进行阅读教学时,首先,要求学生能够找到短文中使用情态动词表示推测的的句子,理解不同情态动词在文中表达的不同推测。另外阅读前弄清连词和连词短语的用法,然后通过阅读短文体会这些连词在文中的作用,进一步帮助理解阅读材料的主要意义。阅读过程中注意对学生进行阅读策略的引导,帮助他们运用listen、guess、skim、scan等各种阅读技巧理解短文内容,了解人们对发生的情况以及神秘事物的推测,体会作者的观点,激发学生对未知事物探索的兴趣,鼓励他们大胆预测,学好知识,将来对神秘的大自然和广袤的宇宙进行探索。
七、单元考情分析及中考链接
本单元涉及的主要内容是情态动词表示推测的用法。考查题型通常是以单项选择、完形填空形式为主,解题关键在于把握情态动词must,might,could,can’t等的用法。近5年日照、滨州、菏泽均在单选中考查情态动词的英语,其中日照考查基本用法1次,表推测1次;滨州考查基本用法4次,表推测1次;菏泽考查表推测4次。
