It was a stormy evening, and all that Neil could hope was to find a shelter that could keep him protected from the chilly wind and cold rain. After work he had to get home on time, as his busy schedule was preventing him from spending quality time with his family. The bus stop on the way provided temporary shelter, where Neil was becoming increasingly agitated (焦虑不安的) with every passing minute. All his evening plans were washed out.
"Sir, why don't you buy a pack of groundnuts (花生) from me " Neil looked around to see a man in rags standing by his side. "Oh, no, I'm not interested right now." "Fried groundnuts will do you a world of good now. Moreover, you can also take some for your family." The very mention of family brought a concern to Neil. His wife had specifically told him to come home early, if not for her sake, at least for the sake of their seven-year-old son.
When he was lost in thought, the groundnut seller had filled a bag with the remaining nuts and offered him an unexpectedly low price. But, Neil refused to buy them: "I do not want to buy anything at this point!" Suddenly, he heard the voice of a kid. "Dad, I want some money to buy books for school." How many books do you want Why did you get wet in the rain Your mother must be getting worried."
Neil turned to the seller. There was an instant when they both made perfect eye contact. Neil had the look of what it is to be a father. Jeremy Clarkson, the 64-year-old TV star, alongside his partner Lisa Hogan, has grown quite fond of the farm animals they've been raising for years in Oxford shire. Fans of the Prime Video hit series Clarkson's Farm have been attracted to Jeremy's agricultural adventures since it first aired in 2021.
The upcoming third season, set to drop on May 3, sees the farm struggling with a host of problems from pig chaos to the bite of increased cost and some serious weather difficulties. In the heartfelt first episode of the new season, Jeremy opens up about the tough decision to shut down his farm restaurant, and to painfully downsize the herd: "With the restaurant shutting, we could no longer afford to keep all the cows. We could hang onto the baby cows to fatten them up, but their mums would have to go."
The sight of his precious cows being packed onto trucks and driven away from the farm left Jeremy visibly moved as he said to his colleague Charlie Ireland: "I'm finding today really quite sad because for the last year or so I have opened the windows and there were cows—and I loved that." He added, "It just cheers up my heart every morning to see them," while facing the reality that the night would be restless with the baby cows upset over the loss of their mothers.
When Jeremy asked about the future of his beloved cow Pepper, Charlie gently advised, "I wouldn't ask too many questions about Pepper. Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answer to." The show then cuts to the adorable home video shot by Lisa of the baby and mummy cows causing chaos in their garden, followed by a sad scene of Jeremy with his arm around Lisa, silently watching the cows being led away. 答案:
Soon Ruby arrived with her team and she knew exactly what to do. Quickly but carefully, she climbed down the hill to the place where Lily was lying. Horror and pain could be easily detected from Lily's face. No time to waste! Ruby immediately got the other girls to help her lift the tree trunk from Lily's leg, only to find her leg was broken. Without any hesitation, she put Lily into the best position and hugged this trembling girl closely to keep her warm. After a short time, Grace rushed back, yelling, "The ambulance is coming soon."
Ten minutes later, they heard an ambulance siren. Then two men with a stretcher and a doctor arrived. The doctor asked, "Who put the girl into this position and helped her stay warm " "I did," Ruby answered. "Well done!" the doctor gave her a thumbs up. Gratefully looking up at Ruby, Lily smiled, "Thank you." Thunderous applause from the girls around burst out, including those in Ruby's team. Happy and proud, Ruby couldn't help whispering to herself, "I can be fast when it's important."
