一、教学内容:Book1Unit1 Friendship Using language
二、教学目标:
1. To read and have a thorough understanding of the passage.
2. To grasp the methods of listening and put them into practice.
3. To learn to give suggestions and know how to write a good composition.
4. To know how to get on well with classmates and enjoy friendship.
三、教学步骤:
Step1 Reading and listening
1、读前
教师提出一个个问题Are you always getting along well with your friends?让学生思考并回答。
2、阅读Lisa的来信。教师介绍Lisa与朋友相处时也遇到 了一个困难。让学生带着两个问题去阅读,What did Lisa write to Miss Wang for? What is Lisa’s problem? 然后回答问题。
3、听力活动
1) 让学生听第一遍录音,回答Miss Wang的建议是什么。
2) 再次听录音,边听边做笔记,然后完成教材第六页的练习二。老师核对答案,并点评个别答案,例如Ending (v-ing form used as a subject)。
3) 老师再次播放录音,提供听力材料给学生,让学生边听边跟读,并找出其中有用的句型,并创设语境进行造句练习。
设计意图:阅读前的导入问题是学生关心的话题,能够调动学生的情绪,但老师必须做好必
要的小结,纠正学生可能出现的不良思想。让学生带着问题去阅读信件,有助于抓住文章要
领,提高阅读的针对性。在听的过程中,老师根据学生实际水平递进式地安排听力活动和练
习,以保证各层次的学生都能完成一定量的听力。第一次播放录音,安排学生带着一个总结
性的问题去听,并不要求学生做任何有难度的练习;当学生了解了听力材料的大意后,第二
次播放录音后才布置学生完成填写练习;第三次播放录音时提供听力材料,让学生边听边跟
读,有助于学生重温听不明白的单词和句子。
Step2 language points知识点学习
教师讲解语言点,学生根据语境和情景完成相关练习。
设计意图:这个环节的活动是围绕本节课的两个重点短语展开的。老师针对部分重点词汇和
要点为达到加深印象和灵活运用的目的而为学生创设各种“有话可说”的语境和情景,设法让
学生在比较真实的语境里运用到所学知识,以增强学习效果。
Step3 Brainstorming 头脑风暴
1)教师提出问题:When you give Xiao Dong advice, what kind of expressions would you use? 让学生组成四人小组,通过头脑风暴法,列下所有成员提出的各种表达法。
2)每个小组派代表向全班汇报,教师将学生们的观点列在黑板上,供学生写作时参考。
设计意图:通过头脑风暴,集思广益,不仅能发挥学生的主观能动性,还能让学生在集体合
作的过程中互相学习,取长补短,也为学生下面的写作提供了丰富的材料。
Step4 Outlining 列写作提纲
1)让学生两人小组讨论如何写建议信,明确信件应分为几个部分以及每个部分的主要内容。
2)教师提示学生关注教材中所提供信件样本,共同分析建议信的格式、体例、可用句型、开头以及结尾的写法等。
3)通过对比两个汉堡,让学生进一步明确怎样的作文是一篇好作文,使他们在以后的写作中能够有高的标准来衡量自己。
4) 学生根据前一步骤所列出的所有建议选取自己最为认可的观点,独立完成个人写作提纲。
设计意图:写作之前对信件的主体内容结构进行梳理,列出提纲,可使学生在写作时能有条
不紊地进行,并且形成良好的写作习惯。
Step5 Writing and editing写作与编辑
1)让学生按照写作要点提纲,在10分钟内独立完成信件。
2)学生完成写作之后,可两人一组交换阅读,互相检查,纠正拼写、语法、标点等方面的错误。
设计意图:限定时间写作是为了提高学生的写作能力,以应对考试时的需要。互相批阅文章
既可减轻学生的焦虑,又能起到互相帮助,共同提高的作用。
Step6 Assessment 评价
教师提供写作的评价标准,请个别学生大声朗读出他们的信,先由学生点评,教师再做补充。
设计意图:教师对学生的写作做出点评很必要,能及时为其他学生做示范或及时纠正错误,
还应尽量以鼓励和表扬为主,让学生在成功感的激励下喜爱写作。
Homework:
Polish your writing to make it a better one and turn it in.
Keep the important words, phrases and useful expressions of the whole unit in mind.
3. Make a summary about Unit1 to solve all the problems and improve yourself.
设计意图:在单元即将结束前,让学生归纳知识要点和语法要点是很必要的,培养了学生自
主学习的良好习惯。自我评价可以使学生反思在本单元学习里存在的优缺点,以便了解下一
个单元的努力方向和需要改进的地方,从而促进学习。

One of the most important things in the world is friendship. In order to have friends, you have to be a friend. But how can you be a good friend at school?
Listen — Listen when they are talking. Don’t say anything unless they ask you a question. Sometimes it’s not necessary for you to have anything to say; they just need someone to talk to about their feelings.
Help them — If your friend is ever in need of something, be there to help them. You should try to put them first, but make sure you don’t do everything they want you to do.
