教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)通过预习检查及口头练习,掌握重点词汇、短语和句型的意思;
(2)通过学习课文,学会在实际情境中灵活使用情态动词can。
2.能力目标:
(1)通过阅读文章,学会从文章中提取信息,完成任务;
(2)通过阅读文章,学会用所学知识来表达自己的能力,参加班委竞选。
3.情感目标:
(1)通过学习课文,帮助学生认识自己的能力,增强自信心;
(2)通过班委竞选,培养学生的竞争意识和为班集体服务的意识。
二、教学重难点
 重点:运用情态动词can来表达自己的优势和能力
重点短语get on with, be ready to do,promise to do,help sb.do sth., make sth +adj的用法。
 难点:运用can来完整说出写出自己的竞选演说.
三、教学过程
1.预习导学: 让学生预习单词了解读音及意义以及班委成员的表达方式及其职责。
2.课内探究:
Step1 课前导入:结合学校的班级管理活动”我的班级我做主"的一些图片,提出问题,要想顺利进行班级管理,需要一些好的班委,学习课文中三个班委的表达方式,让学生熟读掌握。
Step2 结合词汇及训练重点句型,What would you like to be?

Step3 Fast reading:(速读部分,两个任务,对文章进行整体感知,根据第一句弄明白这是什么时间,学生们在干什么;然后浏览各段,找出三个学生的竞选目标是什么。)
