一、现在分词(v+ing)作定语的逻辑关系
表示被修饰名词 “主动进行” 的动作,或与名词之间存在 “主动关系”。
二、位置:
1.前置定语:单个现在分词位于名词前
e.g.①正在睡觉的孩子 ② 游泳的男孩 ③游泳池
2.后置定语:现在分词短语位于名词后 e.g.
1.站在门边的女孩是我的妹妹。

a swimming pool
The girl standing at the door is my sister.
2.你认识那个和汤姆跳舞的女孩吗?
三、现在分词作定语的时态与语态
1. 一般式(doing):表 “与谓语动作同时发生” 的主动动作。
e.g.The boy talking to the teacher is my classmate.
分析:talk 与谓语 is 同时发生。
2. 完成式(having done):完成式作定语时需后置,且强调动作 “先于谓语动作完成”。
e.g.The student having finished the exam left the classroom.
分析:“完成考试” 早于 “离开”
正在和老师说话的那个男孩是我的同班同学。
完成了考试的那个学生离开了教室。

3.被动式(being done):后置定语,表示正在进行的被动动作,强调动作与句子谓语同时发生。
e.g.1.正在维修的那座桥将于下个月开放。
四、形容词化的现在分词作定语
部分现在分词长期用作定语时已转化为形容词,强调 “令人…… 的” 性质,常见词:interesting(有趣的)、exciting(令人兴奋的)、boring(无聊的)、amusing(逗乐的)
e.g.an interesting novel(一本有趣的小说,非动作,表性质)
五、若被修饰的代词为those,something,anyting,nothing等,现在分词要放在其后e.g.1.She is reading something interesting.
(她正在读有趣的内容。)
