学情分析
我们常说:“现代的文盲不是不识字的人,而是没有掌握学习方法的人”,因而在教学中要特别重视学法的指导。在学习本单元之前,本年级学生已经学习过了一些描写人物外貌的词汇和句型。对于本单元的学习,大部分学生已经有了一定的学习基础, 但由于学生自觉性差,很少能够自觉做好课前预习和课后复习,所以课前可以给些时间让他们熟悉下本节课的内容,知识 学生不易理解的,教学中老师应予以简单明白,深入浅出的分析
Unit4 I used to be afraid of the dark效果分析
由 引入:把教学内容转化为具有潜在意义的问题,让学生产生强烈的问题意识,使学生的整个学习过程成为“猜想”继而紧张的沉思,期待录找理由和证明过程。在实际情况下学习可以使学生利用已有的知识与经验,同化和索引出当节学习的新知识,这样获取知识,不但易于保持,而且易于迁移到陌生的问题情境中。(2)由实例得出本课新的知识点,坚持“以学生为主体,以教师为主导”的原则,根据学生的心理发展规律,在采用问答法时,特别注重不同难度的问题,提问不同层次的学生,面向全体,使基础差的学生也能有表现机会,培养其自信心,激发其学习热情。有效的开发各层次学生的潜在智能,力求使学生能在原有的基础上得到发展。

总结本节课,优点是:我采用了英语中学到的“任务型教学”。通过给学生设置问题,让他们通过思考来解决,因为整节课的设计比较贴近生活,所以整堂课的气氛十分活跃,学生们参与表现的积极性非常高,这是我们在初三授课过程中难得出现的状态。我想这多少也体现了“在学中用,在用中学”的教学理念吧。美中不足的是,成绩差的学生只是感受到学习的快乐氛围,却融入不了其中。这也是本节课很遗憾的地方。但从检测的效果看,学生对于英语学习部分的非谓语动词引导的句子掌握不是太好。

一、教学目标:
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 能掌握以下单词: humorous, silent, helpful, from time to time, score
能掌握以下句型:
① Paula used to be really quiet.

2) 能够用英语描述自己或他人过去常常做的事情;发现自己或他人在外表、性格、兴趣等方面所发生的变化。

Ⅰ. Lead in
大屏幕展示老师过去的一张照片,引导学生们对比描述她的过去与现在的长相特点,引出描述人的形容词并完成1a。
Ⅱ. Words presentation
展示三组照片学习本节课的新单词并引出used to be/do
Ⅲ. Presentation
展示两组学生熟悉的人的两组照片,进行对比描述。

1. T: Bob hasn’t seen some of his friends for four years. Now he’s seeing his friends. What did his friends use to like? Listen and fill in the blanks.
