（一）主题：AI学习经历
AI has played an important part in both our life and study. As a teenager born in the 21 century, I have some experiences to share with you.
Three months ago, I found it difficult to get high grades in English. I thought maybe AI could give me a hand. So I asked DeepSeek to correct my grammar mistakes and explained some difficult questions to me. Also, DeepSeek could create some interesting games to help me master the vocabulary. Doubao was used to communicate with me in English.
Thanks to those tools, I have made great progress in learning English. However, I know I can’t depend on AI so much. After all, it is like a two-edged weapon. I should use it properly.

My favorite Chinese traditional story
There are many traditional stories in China. Among all of the stories, YuGong Moves the Mountains touched me most.
Once upon a time, there lived an old man named YuGong. There were two high mountains near his home, which made people very difficult to walk to the other side. So he decided to move the mountains away. Of course, many people doubted his action, including his wife and some villagers. However, instead of giving up, YuGong and his family kept moving them day after day, year after year. In the end, a god was so moved that he helped take the mountains away.
After reading the story, I keep in mind that nothing is impossible as long as we put in efforts.

Since you were invited to spend the Spring Festival with a Chinese friend, I think there is something important you should know.
The Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival in China and it has been celebrated for thousands of years. It’s a time for a family to get together. People from all over the country will travel back to their hometowns to visit their families and relatives. On the eve, we usually have a big family dinner and watch the Spring Festival Gala together to enjoy the rich Chinese culture. At midnight, we set off fireworks. The noise and the bright colors are believed to bring good luck.
When you are having this meal, it’s better not to stick your chopsticks into the food and you shouldn’t point at anyone with your chopsticks, either. It’s rude of you to start eating first if there are elder people at the table.

It’s widely agreed that the environmental pollution is getting worse and worse nowadays. Many trees are cut down, and water and air are polluted. As a student, I realize it is everyone’s duty to save our earth.
In my daily life, I try to live a low-carbon life to save energy and reduce pollution. For example, I often walk to school, which helps reduce air pollution. When leaving the classroom, I always turn off the lights. Meanwhile, I make full use of paper and other school things. When I go shopping, I always use my own cloth bags. Moreover, to make more people realize the importance of protecting the earth, I take part in some volunteer work, such as making posters and giving speeches about environmental protection.
I wish more people to join me and make a great difference to our earth.
（五）主题：English Homework Helps Me Level Up
My favorite kind of English homework is acting out a play. It can help improve my language skills and make me confident.
When I was in Grade 8, my teacher asked us to act out the play The Emperor’s New Clothes in a group of six. I was a big challenge. Firstly, I read the play with group members and shared our understanding of the play. Then, we chose our roles and practiced the lines a lot. In the end, we did quite well and won tons of praise.
Personally speaking, I have benefited a lot from this kind of English homework. On one hand, I have improved my spoken English and I am more and more interested in learning English. On the other hand, I feel brave enough to show myself in front of the public, which will be helpful for my future life. Most importantly, I have learned the importance of pulling together.

Everybody has a dream job and so do I. Since I entered junior high school, I have been dreaming about being a science teacher when I grow up. I have always been interested in science. Besides, I am outgoing and good at communicating with others. I like working with children because I think they can provide me with some energy and keep me active.
To make my dream come true, I need to take action from now on. First, I’m supposed to improve my schoolwork so that I can get into a good university to study education. Then I plan to do scientific research. In this way, I can help my students increase science knowledge. Maybe with great efforts, we can invent new products to improve people’s life and even discover the mysteries of the world.
I hope to work in my hometown when I graduate from university. I will have more time to look after my parents. At the same time, it’s a good chance for me to help my hometown develop rapidly. I believe my dream can come true with my hard work and efforts.

Recently, I’ve done a survey about whether students like to watch movies at home in the cinema. According to the survey, 64% of the students like to watch movies at home. For one thing, they can spend less money. For another thing, they will have more choices of what to watch. Meanwhile, the others prefer to go to the cinema. From their point of view, they will have the chance to enjoy huge screens and feel excellent sound in the cinema, which can always give them a wonderful watching experience.
For me, it’s a better idea to watch movies at home. I can be free to do what I want while watching movies, such as eating or talking about the characters with my family. I think I will have a more comfortable watching time and a better understanding of the movies.
Personally speaking, watching movies in the cinema is a better choice. We can share a wonderful watching time with my friends who have the same favorite as me. Besides, we can hang out together before or after watching movies. After all, we need to relax after a long time of study at school. Meanwhile, it’s a good way to develop friendship.

Hello, everyone! It’s my pleasure to give a speech about how to protect the environment. Nowadays, we always see rubbish everywhere, especially in some public places. Meanwhile, we can’t see blue skies anymore because of more cars and factories which pollute the air badly.
Luckily, more and more people have realized the importance of saving the environment. Personally speaking, it’s everyone’s duty. As for me, I usually recycle some old books and clothes with a little creativity. For example, I turned my old jeans into a beautiful handbag last month, which drew much attention from my classmates. Besides, we can use public transportation more instead of riding in cars. In our free time, we can put up some posters or give speeches in the communities so that more people will join us. Meanwhile, we can write a letter to the government, hoping that it can develop strict laws to prevent people from littering everywhere and factories from polluting the air and water.
All in all, everyone should play an active part in protecting the environment.

It’s widely agreed that safety is very important. So it’s necessary for us teenagers to know how to protect ourselves in difficult situations. Here are some suggestions.
First of all, we should be careful when we are near places like rivers, lakes and gas stations. These places could be dangerous. Second, when we are in danger, it’s necessary to call the police in time so that we can get help as soon as possible. Besides, it’s important for us to follow the traffic rules and never play with our mobile phone when walking on the street. Last but not least, we shouldn’t tell strangers our private information, especially online.
To sum up, it’s our duty to protect ourselves.
（十）主题：Learning English during our free time
There are many things we can do to learn English well during our free time. For example, we can learn English by listening to English songs. There is no doubt that English songs can help to arouse our interest. Also, choosing to watch English movies or short videos is a way of learning, which helps to improve the ability of listening and speaking.
As students of Grade 9, reading, writing and grammar are also of great importance. So in my opinion, it’s necessary to read English books, especially English classics during our free time. Once you lose yourself in a book, you can find the joy.
