（一）主题：The Inspiring Story of Wang Xingxing
Hello, everyone! Today I’d like to share a story about Wang Xingxing, the founder of Unitree Robotics.
When he was young, he took great interest in robots, always losing himself in studying robots. His dream was always to create robots that could move freely like an animal. So he spent much time trying different ways to make robots. Of course, he met with lots of difficulties. To our surprise, he had a strong will. He never gave up. Instead, he was brave and intelligent enough to work out problems one by one. Finally, he succeeded in making a robot dog. His company is now famous for its robot dogs and it also makes China, especially Hangzhou well-known all over the world.
In my eyes, Wang Xingxing is the pride of Zhejiang. From his story, I know that interest is the best teacher. Once we are interested in something, we should stick to our interest. Moreover, whatever difficulty we meet, we are supposed to be brave to face difficulties. If so, we sure achieve success like Wang Xingxing.
（二）主题：推荐一个适合City walk的地方。
Now it is getting more and more popular to travel around our city. For example, people like to travel to city parks, museums, some villages and so on in their free time. Today, I’d like to recommend Zhoushan Museum for a city walk on weekends. In my eyes, it’s big and enjoyable enough.
As we all know, the city museum is located in the center of our city. So it’s convenient for us to get there. It’s a modern building with three floors. The collections in the museum cover all periods of the history of our city, especially focusing on the sea culture in Zhoushan. In the museum, we can experience a lot. For example, we can not only take a walk to enjoy ancient things, but also learn about local history and culture. Besides, the museum often holds some meaningful activities, including watching robot performances and making art works with a little creativity.

How time flies! It’s time to say goodbye to my junior high school life. Looking back, a shining moment stands out. I still remember that I gave an English speech in public and won a good prize last year.
To prepare for the speech, I practiced carefully. I recorded my voice and asked my English teacher for help. She was so helpful. For example, she gave her opinions about my speech. Meanwhile, she encouraged me practice hard and helped me with my pronunciation and body language. Finally, I gave the speech confidently on the stage. When my name was announced, I was so excited that I couldn’t stop jumping with tears in my eyes.
This experience has taught me that effort lead to growth.

I’m so happy to hear that you and your classmates will come to our school . Here is our arrangement .
First , in the cultural corner of our school, you will be able to enjoy excellent Chinese calligraphy works and ink paintings. They were all created by the students in our school. Also , there are interesting paper cuttings on the windows, which stand for a traditional folk art in China .Then , we will invite you and your classmates to have an English class. Our English teacher is fun . She will share something special with you . Are you interested in Chinese music If you want to experience it , we can go to a music lesson , too. Third , you can play table tennis, volleyball and do rope skipping together with us , which are also our daily activities .

（五）主题：A Campus Food Festival
Dear Mike,
How is everything going
In order to make students know more about Chinese food culture and keep students’ campus life more colorful, our school held a food festival in the dining room last Friday.
During the festival, the cooks from our school introduced traditional styles of cooking and made many famous dishes like Mapo tofu and Gong Bao Chicken. Many students enjoyed traditional food and watched the process of cooking. To our excitement, with the help of the cooks, we made some food by ourselves at the end of the festival.
All of us enjoyed the activities very much. We spoke highly of this festival which allows us to improve our cooking skill. Meanwhile, we better understand China’s rich and great food culture.

（六）主题：Good Changes
I’m interested in English, but listening reading was a challenge for me in the past.
One year ago, I was so weak in writing that I was afraid to write English articles when I did my English homework. Luckily, my English teacher Mr. Miller noticed my problem and then gave me a hand. First, he lent me some interesting English magazines and newspapers and encouraged me to memorize some beautiful sentences and passages in them. Besides, he asked me to read English textbooks for at least 30 minutes every day. Meanwhile, he taught me some writing skills. Gradually, I started to enjoy short passages in English. Now I keep an English diary every evening. And I’m not afraid to write English articles anymore. Last month, I even won a prize in an English writing competition.
English is a useful tool for us to learn about the world. I’m happy that I’m getting better at writing English. I feel more confident about learning English now.

And the players on the school team have won many prizes. As a result, you can practice with them and learn from each other. One of the coolest things at my school is our hand-made food classes. In class, we learn to make food like dumplings and noodles. If you come to my school, I’ll show you how to make hot Sichuan food, zongzi and tangyuan. They are typical Chinese traditional food. What fun it is!

As a graduate in Grade 9, my school life has become busier than before. I have endless homework and frequent exams, which makes me stressed out. But remember the spirit of Nezha, “If there is no path ahead, I’ll create one!” We should let this motto inspire us to face challenges bravely.
When I am under pressure, I usually watch movies like comedies to relax myself. Besides, I often spend time going for a walk in a park so that I can breathe fresh air. Then I will be full of energy again. Playing sports is also a good way for me to forget about my problems.
According to my own experience, I advise the students in Grade 9 not to give up no matter what difficulties we meet.

It’s my honor to make a speech here. Have you ever tried your best to do one thing Have you ever lived your life to the fullest Today, I want to share the thing I keep doing these years with you.
When I was in Grade 7, I couldn’t speak English well because of poor pronunciation, which always made my classmates laugh at me. Luckily enough, although I felt embarrassed, I didn’t lose heart. Instead, I made up my mind to improve my spoke English no matter how hard it was at that time. So these years I get up at 5:30 every morning so that I can spend at least half an hour practicing speaking English. To correct my pronunciation, I read aloud after the tape every day.
Now, I have made great progress in English. This learning experience has made a big difference to my life, too. I am not as shy as I used to be. Besides, when facing difficulties in my life, I will never give up. I am ready to take on any challenge in the future.
