I’m glad to hear from you. Chinese summer vacation usually starts in early July and ends at the end of August, which lasts (for) nearly 2 months. During the vacation, some students may choose to travel somewhere interesting. They hope they will increase knowledge and broaden their eyes by travelling. Some would like to go to a summer camp to improve themselves, while some may just stay at home, relaxing by exercising or reading.
As for me, this summer vacation is quite different because I have finished my junior high school. First and foremost, I’ll fly to Beijing to visit some famous universities because it’s my dream to go to college in Beijing. After that, I’ll spend two weeks with my grandparents in the countryside. Not only can I help them with some farmwork, but I also enjoy the peaceful country life after my busy school life. Of course, I’ll make enough preparations for my new term.

How is everything going Our school will hold a VLOG competition to introduce Chinese customs and festivals. I’m writing to introduce how I will make it.
First, I will choose a traditional Chinese festival, like the Spring Festival. Then, it’s necessary to search for information about the festival by interviewing some people or surfing on the Internet. Next, I will organize the information about the date, traditional activities, special food and reasons why we like it. After that, it’s time to write the video text based on the information I have collected. To make it more attractive, maybe I’ll ask my English teacher for help. And then, I will film and make it. Finally, I am supposed to upload the final video. I hope I can spread Chinese traditional festival successfully in this way.

Hello, everyone! I’d like to tell you something about the show “Working the Waste into Magic”.
A large number of creative works were on show, including clothes made of waste paper and moder planes made of used wood and glass. Another fascinating work was the chairs that are made of plastic bottles. They were glued together and painted in different colors. But the most interesting one was a backpack for computers. It was made out of a pair of old jeans. With the zipper of the jeans on the top, two pockets on two sides, the backpack looked both useful and fashionable. It even had a logo on it!
I felt amazed at how creative these works were. I can’t imagine how much they could make use of waste. It really helps to save energy and build a greener life.

They are the symbols of rich Chinese history and culture. By the way, the Spring Festival is the perfect time to experience Chinese culture. People hang couplets, set off fireworks and enjoy dragon dances to welcome the New Year. Also, you will have a chance to taste delicious local food, like Beijing Roast Duck.

There are some famous folk stories about the West Lake. While you are in Hangzhou, it’s best to taste Longjing tea, which produces a pleasant smell. It’s widely known that Hangzhou is famous for silk products, including scarfs, umbrellas made of silk. The most amazingly, Hangzhou is known as the center of AI technology, which provides more jobs for young people.

Hello, everyone! It’s a great honor for me to make a speech on the person I always thank. I’d like to thank my mother most, who has a round face and is kind to others.
Since I was born, my mother has always taken good care of me. She never complains about being busy with all kinds of housework. So my father and I can spend most of the time doing what we like to do. However, I admire her mostly because she has taught me how to be a useful person for the society. It’s known that China is becoming an aging society. She always volunteers to look after the old people in the community, such as cleaning the house and doing some cooking for them. As I grow older, she encourages me to volunteer with her. Thanks to my mother, she has brought out the best in me.

When I entered junior high school, I couldn’t get used to the busy school life because I was very shy. I felt lonely and didn’t dare to ask and answer questions in class. As a result, I lost heart. Luckily, my English teacher noticed my situation. She talked with me and always encouraged me in class. When I made some progress, she praised me and gave me some small gifts. As time went by, I became more and more confident. Meanwhile, she always taught us how to be a useful person for the society. For example, during vacation, she led us to volunteer to pick up rubbish in the public places. Thanks to my English teacher, she has brought out the best in me.

Last Saturday happened to be my father ’s birthday. But my mother was out on business . I
decided to give my father a surprise. So when he went to work , I asked my sister to clean the house with me.Then we prepared dinner.We made some birthday noodles and dumplings .We also cooked chicken , other dishes and soup. My sister even bought a cake ! After my father came back, he was so happy that he hugged us. How sweet ! I am thankful that I have such a happy family.
