Dear George,
I’m excited to share with you the music program at my school.
Our school offers a comprehensive music program. In regular classes, we not only study music theory, but also get hands-on experience playing various instruments like the piano and violin. Outside of the classroom, there are also vibrant music activities, ranging from the weekly orchestra rehearsals, preparing for grand performances in school events and local competitions, and music clubs where students can exchange ideas and showcase their talents. With these wonderful classes and activities, we place great emphasis on music education, believing it enriches our creativity and emotional intelligence. It also serves as a wonderful way to relieve stress and express emotions.
I hope this gives you a clear picture of our music scene. What about music education in your school I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours,
Li Hua
第二节 (满分15分)
Possible version:
Instead of rejecting it, Emma nodded her head. As Lily patiently guided her through the equations, Emma began to realize that struggling didn’t mean she was incapable - it just meant she was learning. Each time she solved a problem with Lily’s help, a small part of her self-doubt melted away. She started to sit a little straighter in math class, no longer hiding behind her textbook. In the Literary Club, her voice grew steadier during readings, and classmates looked to her for feedback. Emma no longer defined herself by her weaknesses. Instead, she embraced her growth, knowing that confidence wasn’t about being perfect - it was about believing she could improve.
