【重要语法】
最高级
1.构成规则
(1)一般在副词后加-er构成比较级,加-est构成最高级。
例如:fast→faster-fastest;
hard→harder-hardest;
early→earlier→earliest.
多音节副词和部分双音节副词在前面加 more 构成比较级,加 most 构成最高级。
例如:quickly-more quickly-most quickly;
carefully-more carefully-most carefully.
(3)不规则变化:
well-better-best;
badly-worse-worst;
many/much-more-most
little-less-least
far-further/farther-furthest-farthest.
2.用法
(1)比较级用于两者之间的比较,表示“更………”
例如:Amy reads faster than Sandy.(艾米读得比桑迪快。)
(2)最高级用于三者或三者以上的比较,表示“最………".",前面通常加 the.
例如:Linda reads the fastest among the three.(琳达在三个人中读得最快。)
(3)可以用“比较级 +than any other+单数名词”或“比较级+than the other+ 复数名词”来表示最高级的含义。
例如:Linda reads faster than any other student in her class.(琳达比她班上的任何其他学生都读得快。)
二、后缀-er,-or, -ist
1. 用法
加在动词或名词后构成表示人的名词。
-er:通常表示“做………. 的人"或“.… 的工具”。
例如:print→printer(印刷工);work→worker(工人);teacher(教师):driver(司机)。
-or:表示“………. 的人”,通常用于动作执行者。
例如:invent-inventor(发明家);act→actor(演员);visitor(参观者)
-ist:表示“..... 家”或"…... 主义者”,通常用于表示专业人士或从事某种学术、艺术等的人。
例如:science→scientist(科学家):art-artist(艺术家);tour→tourist(游客);piano→pianist(钢琴家)

Listening to Music While Studying Do you like listening to music when you’re studying A lot of students think that listening to their favorite songs helps them study better, so they listen to their loved music when they are revising (复习). But does it really make them learn more And will it be different if they choose different kinds of music
How to research To answer these questions, teachers from Cardiff Metropolitan University recently started a study. They divided (分配) students into different groups:o Group A: revised without music; o Group B: revised to music without words; o Group C: revised to music with words they liked; o Group D: revised to music with words they disliked. The students then took a test on what they had been revising.

Many students ask for advice about improving their English. These are some basic questions.
The first question is about real English. Li Hao from Hubei wrote, “I enjoy watching English films and listening to real English songs. But it takes a long time. What do you think ”
