学情分析
本节课的对象是七年级的学生,他们天真、活泼,对新事物有很高的激情,针对这样的学生,要全面激发他们的学习兴趣,很适合采用多媒体等信息化手段充分调动他们的学习积极性,得到一个很好的教学效 果。另外学生已经有半年多的英语基础,有了自己的英语学习习惯和方法,我们可以充分调动他们的积极性,并且适当帮助他们调整学习方法中的不妥之处。本着以提高学生综合运用语言的能力,使各层次的学生都有所收获为目的。
效果分析
通过这节课的学习,学生能够运用本课出现的短语及句型,学习了sb is doing something …Is sb doing something ---No, he isn’t./Yes,he is.…?
的话题,效果如下:
认真听讲:学生都能认真听老师讲课,随着教师的指点而积极思考,并积极回答问题。只有个别学生因胆怯而不敢回答问题,甚至低着头一言不发。
积极发言:大部分英语不错的学生始终举手发言,并且很到位。
自信:现在学生缺少的是自信心,明明有自己的见解,但不善于表达,有的害怕说错。从这里可以看出学生自信心不强,今后还要多鼓励,没有自信就没有成功。
合作方面:学生合作意识强,课堂上大部分同学基本上能以独立思考,对话时合作到位。
创造性思维:学生创造性思维欠缺,想不出更多的话题操练句型,这需要教师有意识的去进一步的去训练。
通过这节课的学习,学生能够运用本课出现的短语及句型,讨论sb is doing something …Is sb doing something …?的话题
课后反思
在掌握知识的基础上提高学生的听说读的能力,并且对所学知识灵活运用。但个别学生的基础较差,词汇记忆不牢,听力不好,需努力强化记忆。通过本节课系统的知识梳理学生有了学习的目标,及努力的方向。

教学目标
1、掌握并运用描述人物活动和地点的词汇:watching, eating,cleaning ,reading ,swimming shopping, supermarket, pool等;
2、掌握并运用简单的英语交际句型:What am/is/are...doing? Sb am/is/are watching TV. What is he doing? He is doing homework. Is the man doing homework? ---No, he isn’t./Yes,he is.
3、通过本课的学习,让学生们懂得除了学习以外,要更好的利用业余时间参加通过活动来放松自己的身心,让自己身心健康成长,树立正确的人生观、世界观和价值观,增强社会责任感,全面提高人文素养。
【学习难点】
1、掌握句型:Is the man swimming in the river? Yes, he is. / No, he isn’t.
2、能听懂谈论活动的对话并进行自由交际。
教学过程
Section B 1 (1a-1e)
Step 1 Warming up and revision
Ⅰ. Review the words and the phrases. Show some ppts about the words and phrases using in this class.
2.Ask students to read them together.
3.Review the sentences:
What are you doing? I am watching TV. What is he doing? He is doing homework. Where is he?... Answer after the teacher then make conversations with eacher.
Step 2 . Presentation
1. T: Show some pictures on the big screen. Present some new words and expressions.
(pool, shop, supermarket, …)
2. Give Ss some time to remember the new words and expressions.
Step 3. Writing
1. Work on 1a.
T: Look at the pictures below. Where are they? What are they doing? Please look at the pictures and fill in the blanks.
2. Ss work in groups. Discuss the pictures about the places and the activities they are doing. Then fill in the blanks.
3. Let some Ss read their answers to the class and check the answers.
Step 4. Pairwork
1. Work on 1b. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then ask and answer questions. Give Ss a Model:
A: Is the man swimming in the river?
B: No, he isn't. He's swimming in a pool.
2. Ss work with their partners. Ask and answer about the pictures. (If necessary, give some help to the Ss.)
3. Let some pairs ask and answer about the pictures.
Step 5. Listening
Work on 1c:
1. T: Now I will play a recording of a conversation. This time write the places and the places you hear in the chart.
2. Play the tape Ss for the stuesdents to listen and fill in the blanks..
Step 6. Listening
Work on 1d:
1. This time, please play the tape again for the Ss to listen and check the answers.
2. Play recording and stop the tape if necessary.
3. Play the tape for ta third time,and have students write the words they hear in the blanks. Check the answers.
4.Ask students to listen and reapet.
