the Great Wall of China
in the north of China
One possible answer:
Last summer vacation, I went to the Great Wall, in the north of China. It was a sunny day. My mother and I took a bus and went there happily. But when we almost got there, it began to rain suddenly. We felt very sad.
As we went on our trip, it was raining harder and harder, we even wanted to give up. Just at this time, a long wall came into my eyes. What a huge wall it is! It’s more than 6 000 kilometres long.
It was difficult for us to travel in the rain. It was even more difficult to build such a wall in the ancient (古老的) days without any modern machines. The Great Wall was made not only of stone and earth, but of the flesh and blood (血肉) of millions of people.
Describe a wonder and your experience:
Introduce a wonder and talk or imagine to talk about your experience of visiting one wonder of the world.
