西汉时期的墓葬发现了西汉的货币——五铢钱，还发现了一只直径七厘米左右、近十厘米高的陶罐，在陶罐的顶端的平面封口处有一类似现代孩童用存钱罐一样的“一”字形开孔，里面的东西无法取出。这就是西汉时期的存钱罐。
