写作项目——Writing an ending to a story
本单元的写作任务是写一则故事的结尾,属于读后续写的范畴。读后续写,就是先阅读所给的阅读材料,然后再结合所给段落的开头语写出下文。所提供的阅读材料的体裁以记叙文和夹叙夹议文为主。阅读材料题材多样,但多为情节丰富的小故事,趣味性和逻辑性较强。该写作任务具有一定的开放性,要求详细且生动地展现故事情景、主人公的态度和情感。
一、“读后续写”题型技法指导
读后续写,顾名思义要先读再写,此处梳理为:“读”至少要包括六项内容,“写”要注意四点。
(一)“六读”材料,理清脉络——确保写作路径对
1.读要素

阅读时可标画出原文中的伏笔,这些伏笔会给我们提供续写思路,在续写的过程中可以有意复现它们,以提醒自己写作时围绕主旨。
通过课文中的伏笔可知Bob和Jimmy的友谊非常牢固,不可能被轻易摧毁,故续写的内容应体现“他们消除误解,重拾友谊”的主题。再结合第一步构思的四个问题,我们可以思考出如下微型故事:

3.利用冲突,营造故事高潮
根据读前文时我们对人物和具体情节线的分析,用合适的写作手段凸显故事情节中的矛盾冲突,营造扣人心弦的高潮,增强故事情节的跌宕起伏。
结合课文,根据课文的语言风格,续写时我们可以通过“放大内心冲突”来营造故事的高潮。可以通过人物语言来渲染内心冲突,也可以运用神态和表情描写来凸显故事中的矛盾冲突,例如:
“Is there anyone here who still thinks of me?” he wondered bitterly.Recalling the night twenty years earlier that had completely changed his life, he wandered blindly through the streets.
4.遣词造句,打造完美语篇
结合原文的语言风格,思考恰当的写作手法,结合续写部分情节构建,考虑运用恰当丰富的词汇和语法结构。
结合教材原文的语言风格,运用环境描写、人物描写、动作描写和语言描写及丰富的语法结构创作写作部分的故事结尾。
二、如何设计精彩结尾,增强文章感染力
结尾句是全文的收笔处,精彩的结尾能够起到点睛的作用,给读者留下深刻印象,亦能唤起读者的思考与共鸣,增强文章的感染力。在结束故事剧情的基本要求之上,可以灵活运用多种方式进行结尾,对故事主题进行深化,使人物情感得到升华。
(一)欧·亨利式结尾
欧·亨利的作品结尾,新颖独特,出人意料但又在情理之中,素有“the surprise ending”美称。结尾部分往往给人以深刻的启迪,丰富的联想。仔细品读,令人回味无穷。
(二)对话式结尾
人物对话式结尾是指在续写段落的结尾,用简短的人物对话来揭示或照应主题的结尾方式。人物的对话能让读者“听”到人物的内心。
(三)画面定格式结尾
把环境描写与人物动作和情感描写相结合,描景状物,营造画面感,寓情于景,让读者体味不言情而情无限的感觉。

(四)情感升华式结尾
采用情感升华式结尾,能激发读者思考,让读者产生情感上的共鸣。通常我们可以通过表现人生感悟、生活真谛、生活哲理、人生观或价值观来达到结尾部分的情感升华。
(五)自然式结尾
自然式结尾是顺着文中所叙述之事的自然发展,以它的必然结果做结尾。这样的结尾虽然简洁明了、朴素无华,但令人回味无穷,给读者留有思考的空间。
