英语试题答案
听力原文
M: Hi, I’ve got a lot of math homework to do tonight. W: So why aren’t you at home doing it now
M: My laptop’s broken. I’m going to Jack’s house to use his.
Text 2 1'26''
M: Lisa, do you still have a cold
W: Yes. I tried drinking hot water, but it still isn’t any better. M: Don’t worry. I think you’d better go to see a doctor.
Text 3 1'48''
W: When should we get to the cookery club
M: Well, school finishes at 3:30, so let’s meet 15 minutes later.
Text 4 2'07''
M: Now that it’s all over, what were your impressions of the trade show
W: I was a little disappointed. I thought that there would be more attention on new technologies or products.
Text 5 2'29''
W: I don’t recognize this route. Are you sure we’re going the right way
M: I know a shortcut that will save you about ten minutes and a little on the fare too. W: That’s great. I’m running out of time.
Text 6 3'50''
M: ⑥How do I find the Main Hall
W: Look at the booklet. You are at Reception now. Turn left. Walk along past the library. ⑥It is next to the library.
M: OK. ⑦And where is the staff room in case I need to find my teacher
W: The staff room is opposite the Teaching Building. In a day or two, ⑦ I’m sure you will find your way around very easily in the school.
Text 7 5'15''
W: Really, you have spent far too much of your time playing those games. Why don’t you read a book, or go for a walk
M: Oh, don’t worry about me. Games like this make us think more quickly.
W: I’m not at all convinced. But too many young people who play those games start doing things they shouldn’t.
M: Well, they certainly don’t have that effect on me. ⑨They’re just lots of fun.
W: ⑨I’m sure they are, but try not to overdo them, OK
Text 8 6'54''
W: John, I’ve just had some good news. Susan has had her baby. M: Do you know when she had it
W: 11Yesterday. The tenth of August.
M: Oh, 12give me the details and I’ll make a note for everyone at work. Well, was it a boy or a girl
W: It’s a boy.
M: And what are they going to call him
W: Tom. Tom Lightfoot. It sounds quite good, don’t you think M: Yes.
W: You know he’s quite a big baby. He weighed four and a quarter kilos when he was born. M: That does sound big.
W: And he’s long too, 54 centimeters. He’ll grow up to be over two meters, I’d say. ⑩With masses
of black hair, curly black hair. You know, we should go and visit them in hospital. 11What about tomorrow afternoon
M: 11OK.
Text 9 9'20''
W: Did you have a good holiday I was thinking of ringing you to ask you about it.
M: 16Yes, it was lovely. We had to set off really early because the plane took off at 7:00 am. But then we were on the beach in the sun at noon.
W: Great! And what did you do most days
M: 14Well, we usually slept in. It was very nice not having to get up early. And then we stayed up late at night, going out to nightclubs. During the day, we usually lay on the beach or looked round the town.
W: And what about the food
M: Well, 14we didn’t usually have any breakfast. By the time we got downstairs at the hotel, they had cleared away all the breakfast things. We tried different restaurants for lunch and most of them were very good. The fish was particularly nice. 15And we usually stayed in for dinner at the hotel.
W: So what did you like best
M: 16I liked everything — the beaches, the weather, the food, the night life, the people. I’d like to go back again next year.
Text 10 12'22''

In the morning, we will be meeting in the hall around 6:00 am to go jogging around Central Park for about 45 minutes, and we’ll get back to the hotel about the time when the restaurant opens, so you’ll have enough time to grab a quick breakfast 18before we leave the hotel at 8:00. 19We’ll
be taking a ferry ride to Liberty Island to visit the Statue of Liberty. This is something that you really can’t miss, and later we will go to Times Square where you can have lunch on your

第一节 应用文
One Version: Dear Alex,
I'm excited to hear about your plan for an outdoor hiking adventure this Saturday! I highly recommend the Green Mountain Trail. It offers stunning views and a moderate difficulty level, making it perfect for a day trip. The trail is well-maintained, and there are several scenic spots where you can take a break and enjoy the natural beauty.
For safety, always check the weather forecast before you set out. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks to keep your energy levels up. It's also a good idea to let someone know your hiking route and expected return time, just in case. Wear comfortable, sturdy shoes and consider bringing a small first-aid kit. If possible, bring a map and a compass, even if you have a GPS device. And don't forget your camera to capture the beautiful moments!
Have a great hike and enjoy the adventure!
Yours,
Li Hua
第二节 读后续写
I rushed home and immediately handed my parents my score card and a note with "PLEASE." This time, they instantly agreed. The next day, we set out for our hometown. Every one, be it relatives or neighbors, greeted us with smiles, treating me like their own son. Every day brought new happiness –- digging with Grandpa in the garden, playing games with cousins until sunset, roaming around familiar streets with loved ones and even joining the local kids in their football matches. The days passed as we had a wonderful time together. Truth be told, everything was more fun in a big family. When departure day came, my heart ached.
I saw my mom had tears in her eyes when leaving them. She wiped them away and smiled, saying, “I didn’t realize how much I missed the village until now. It’s not just a place; it’s where our roots are.” As we drove away, I felt a mix of excitement and nostalgia. I realized that the real adventure wasn’t about exploring far-off places but about reconnecting with family and our heritage. This trip wasn’t just for me; it was a reminder for all of
us that family is the true treasure of life. From then on, visiting Grandma and Grandpa became our annual tradition, a time to cherish love, laughter, and the simple joys of being together.
