M: Hey! I think I found a job that might interest Lisa.Where is she
W:①She went to Liverpool visiting friends, I think. What is it
M: Well, it's from London Week, which claims to be the only newspaper for visitors to London.
W: What do they want, a reporter
M: No, ②it's what they call a sales representative.
W: Hmm.Could be interesting. How much does it pay
M: Not bad.③Three thousand pounds a month. That's five hundred pounds more than what she made in her last job.
W: Not bad at all.Any requirement
M: Salespeople with no less than two years of experience, not necessarily in advertising.Lisa's got plenty of that.
W: Any other details about the job
M: No, just the paid trips to Paris on top of the salary.
W: Well, let's tell Lisa. She'll be back tomorrow, I expect.
(Text 2)
W: Do you sometimes feel stressed by your work, Jim
M: Of course! It is the No.1 stressor in my life. You know job stress has become a very common problem these days.So we must learn to do with it.
W: I agree.What is your solution
M: Well, I am trying to balance work and rest time. You know, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
W: You seem to have a very relaxed attitude.
M: It is necessary.Positive attitude helps to stop stress.
W: But I don't think we can change our work time.Anyway, we are not the boss.
M: I expect our boss to provide stress management training and make changes inside them, like avoiding extra work and organizing relaxing activities. And in that way he will have a healthy team.
W: I agree with you.Our boss is a clever person.
M: Yeah, just relax and work happily.
W: OK, thank you, Jim.

Hello and welcome everyone! My name is Jane Brown and I work in the HR department — I'm the information officer in the company.I'd like to give you a short introduction to my job and also to explain the program for the day.I'm in charge of all communication. And I'm also your guide for the day so please ask me if you have any questions. So, that's my job. That's all I want to say about myself for now.Right, now I want to go on to the second part — the plan for the day.
As you can see from the program, we have a tour of the production area with Matthew Durston, our production manager, then lunch at 12:30.
After lunch we have a video to show you at 2:00 p.m., then a meeting with John White, our marketing manager. For this evening we have booked dinner at 8:00 p.m. at the Hollies, a wonderful restaurant in the town center. We'll meet at your hotel at 7:15 p.m.and walk there.Right, that's all I want to say.Does anyone have any questions OK, thank you for listening. Now I'm going to hand it over to Matthew. So, have a good day!

Different views about buying products at a low price.
2.How do you think of this phenomenon
As for me, if the products are really useful and necessary in daily life, discounts can be a good reason to purchase them, but remember not to purchase things just for the discounts, especially for the things that we don't really need. Therefore, when we try to buy things, we had better think carefully before action.Buying things with right reasons is the right way to consume.

James Pemblington was dreaming of owning a grocery store though his family wasn't rich.At a young age,he started to save money by doing odd jobs in his neighborhood. Then,he worked for a local construction company. Finally,he earned sufficient money to fulfill his childhood dream after years of hard work. Then,he decided to go to the bank to withdraw all the money he had saved.
Monday morning finally came, and all the summer world was bright and fresh, and filled with life. There was a song in James's heart; there was cheer in his face and a spring in his every step. The locust trees (刺槐树) were in bloom and the fragrance of the blossoms filled the air.“Everything is perfect,” he thought with a sense of joy and happiness surging through him.
After arriving at the bank, James filled the form and handed it to the cashier. The cashier processed the form and gave him the money. When James took it, he realized that the cashier had given him 12,000 dollars instead of 10,000 dollars which he had filled in the form.James noticed that the cashier had no idea of her mistake and silently kept the money in his bag and left the bank quickly.
On his way home, the sun was at its highest like a cruel unblinking yellow eye staring down at him from the cloudless sky.James quickened his steps and squeezed through the crowd. Finally,he got back home and laid the extra 2,000 dollars on the table.
James began to think about the whole thing. At first, he was overwhelmed by joy, wondering what he could do with the extra money. Then he thought he should return the money, or the cashier had to pay for the mistake that she had unintentionally made. But yet again his mind gave some excuses or other reasons for not returning the money.
But there was a voice of his conscience (良知) that kept coming from inside — you should not take advantage of someone's mistake. As time went by,James's restlessness (不安) was increasing.
Suddenly the clock on the wall struck four, and James realized it was about the closing time for the bank.
Question 1:What would James do and what's the response of the cashier
“Without doubt, the cashier had to make up for the money herself if I took the money. That's not fair for her.I should do what I think is right,” James thought. He immediately went to the bank and gave the money back to the cashier. After explaining what had happened, the cashier was very grateful. She told James that if she couldn't find the money, she would lose the job.
Question 2:What did James feel and what did he learn
In response to the cashier's remarks, James said, “I am grateful, too. 2,000 dollars that you gave me by mistake taught me a valuable lesson.Although it took me many years of hard work to earn the money and the extra 2,000 dollars did mean a lot to me, I wouldn't be happy as before if I took the money.I would always blame myself for taking the money that didn't belong to me.We shouldn't take advantage of others' mistake, or our restlessness will be increasing. We should treat others with heart and soul.”3 / 3
