Lead in 1. Look at the cover page(封面页) of this unit and think. 2. Look at the picture and share your ideas. 3. Look at the teacher’s Wechat Moment and ask the teacher some questions about his/her holiday.
Pre- listening 1.Tick the activities you did during the summer holidays. (1a) 2.Observe Yaming and Emma’s Wechat Moments and try to find some useful information.
While- listening 1.Listen to the conversations and circle the holiday activities you hear in 1a.(1b) 2.Listen again and complete the two summaries.(1c) 3.Watch two videos and know more about Mount Huangshan and the strawberry festival in California. 4.Listen to the conversation again and fill in the blanks.
Post- listening 1.Find out how to talk about holidays. 2.Share you holiday. 3.Think deeply: ①Why do we share our holidays on Wechat ____________________________________________________________ ②Is the place or people more important for a holiday ____________________________________________________________ 4.Enjoy a poem about holiday think about the true meaning of holiday.
