一、教学目标
1.能够辨别词汇类别,掌握通过添加词缀构成名词的方法,准确运用重点单词完成句子和短文。
2.能够从文本中提取蓝鲸的主要信息,以蓝鲸的视角进行第一人称的短文写作。
3.培养学生的词汇运用能力、信息提取能力和写作能力。

◆Step 1 Lead-in Show a short video about different objects with their measurements (height,size,weight)on the screen.After watching,ask students some simple questions,like “What can you remember about the measurements in the video ” 观察学生对问题的反应,看他们是否参与其中。

◆Step 6 Post-reading T:Work in groups to say something about how to protect blue whales by answering the following questions: 1.Why are blue whales endangered (1)Because the temperature in the ocean is becoming higher and higher. (2)Because there is more pollution in the ocean. (3)Because humans kill blue whales to get the fat under their skin. 2.How to protect blue whales (1)Ask the government to make laws to stop killing. (2)Students can make some posters to tell the public the importance of blue whales. (3)Do more research on them. 评估学生的观点表达与小组讨论深度。
