第3课时 Section A Grammar Focus(3a-3c)
一、教学目标
1.掌握will及There be 结构的一般将来时用法。
2.进一步掌握more、less、fewer的使用。
3.正确使用will和shall来讨论未来预测和提出建议。
4.培养学生对未来的想象力,能够合理预测未来生活。
二、核心语言知识
1.核心词汇:
单词:

2.核心句式:
(1)—Shall we go to see the sci-fi film
—Oh,I'd love to.
(2)—What will the future be like
—There will be more people in cities,but there will be fewer traffic accidents.

—Yes,they will./No,they won't.
(4)—How long will people live
—Well,more people will live to be over 100 years old.
3.教学重难点:
(1)一般将来时的结构:will/shall+动词原形;肯定句、否定句和疑问句。
(2)在不同语境中正确运用一般将来时,特别是在进行预测时。
(3)在已学会的词汇和短语的基础上进行语言输出,完成语法练习。

◆Step 1 Lead-in Show pictures about future life (e.g.,robots,space travel). T:What will happen in the future Make sentences by using “will”. 教师观察学生能否正确使用will表达对未来的预测。教师作出鼓励性评价与启发性指导。
设计意图:通过图片开场提问与播放未来生活视频,营造轻松氛围,引发学生对未来的思考,激发兴趣并自然导入用一般将来时描述未来的主题。
◆Step 2 Presentation Work on 3a 1.Lead students to read the sentences in Grammar Focus 3a and try to get the meanings. 2.The teacher divides these sentences into several groups,and show them on the PPT.Then asks students to read aloud and underline “shall”,“will” and “won't”. 3.The teacher leads students to think about the usage of shall and will. 4.The teacher guides students to conclude the main sentence structures in the future tense. 通过观察对关键词的标注情况,以及思考和回答问题时对“shall”“will”用法和将来时相关要点的理解程度与表述准确性,评估学生对知识的掌握和思维能力的发展。
设计意图:通过观察Grammar Focus,找出will的用法,总结其语法规律,提升学生语言运用能力。
◆Step 3 Practice Work on 3b 1.Ask Ss to complete the conversations with the correct forms of the verbs in 3b. 2.Read the conversations in 3b in roles. 3.Work on 3c (1)Pair work Write some predictions about your partner's life in 20 years and then make up a conversation.Invite groups to share. 观察小组成员是否积极参与讨论和记录。 检查海报内容是否大量且正确使用一般将来时。 通过同伴互评结果评估学生能否准确识别他人展示中的时态运用。
(2)Group work Group Activity:Future City Design Divide students into groups of 4,ask them to design a future city using the simple future tense.Discuss aspects like transport,education,health care,and living environment.Use the simple future tense (will/shall+verb base)to describe each aspect.Record sentences on a worksheet.Groups create a“Future City”poster.Include drawings and 8 sentences with the simple future tense to explain their design.Each group presents their future city.
