一、教学目标
1.能够掌握文中关于对话技巧的重点词汇和短语。
2.掌握if条件状语从句的用法,理解其在对话中的实际应用。
3.培养学生的沟通技巧,提升他们的社交能力。
4.增强学生的自信心,帮助他们克服与陌生人交谈时的紧张情绪。

◆Step 1 Lead-in Play a short video clip (1-2 minutes)showing two conversation scenarios—one is smooth and pleasant (friends chatting happily using good listening skills),and the other is awkward ( someone interrupting frequently,asking impolite questions). 2.Careful-reading (1)Read the text again and answer the following questions: ①What are the four tips for making a better conversation ②Why is it important to listen carefully ③What topics should you avoid in a conversation ④How can body language affect a conversation (2)Work on 1c Have students complete the table with the information about the tips for making better conversations from the text. 学生能够理解并回答问题,填写表格,展示对文章细节的理解。

◆Step 4 Post-reading 1.Work on 1d Let students find out what the pronouns in bold refer to. 2.Work on 1e Divide students into groups to discuss: What makes a good listener Are the tips reasonable Why or why not Add other tips (e.g.“Be patient”). 3.Group work T:The Mid-Autumn Festival is coming.Your family are talking about how to celebrate it.Make up a dialogue between your family members. 教学反思
