Starting with Lingling and Betty choosing Mother’s Day presents, this unit presents two conversations on the topic of shopping in which many useful expressions are properly and correctly used.
Based on the actual conditions of the students, one more listening material is added to help enlarge students’ input.
With enough authentic input as well as controlled activities on the target language, students should be able to make their own conversation in real situations.

1. Play the recording of Activity 2 and ask students to answer questions.
2. Play the recording of Activity 3 Part 1(in the shop) and get the students to answer questions based on it.
3. Play the recording of Activity 3 Part 2(in the market) and ask students to finish the table.
1. Listen to the small listening and answer questions in Act 2.
2. Listen to Act 3 Part 1 and answer questions from the teacher.
3. Listen to Act 3 Part 2 and finish the table.
