Unit 1 once upon a time...
一、课型:Listening and speaking
二、学情分析:学生在学习了第七模块be动词的一般过去时的基础上进一步学习行为动词的一般过去时在句子中的运用。学生在口头表达以及英语听力方面基础相对薄弱。但第一单元的对话和第二单元的短文都围绕《金凤花和三只熊》这个传统的英文童话故事展开,内容和情节都很符合初一下学期这一年龄阶段的学生的兴趣,而且语言简单易懂,描写细致生动,非常能吸引学生。
三、教学方法:自主学习 小组合作
四、学习目标:
1、通过图片和对话理解金凤花的故事;.
2、领会故事的主题,即:金凤花原理;
3、能简单地运用一些规则动词的过去式讲述故事。
五、教材分析
外研版7年级英语下册Module 8 Story time units 1~3,本模块以童话故事为题材,用故事贯穿模块,要求学生读懂故事,并能用一般过去时讲一个完整的故事。
本模块的主要语法是规则动词的过去式,教学重点是在童话故事中学习规则动词的过去式,以及本模块中出现的重点词汇、短语、固定搭配和句型。
课前准备一些与本模块话题童话故事相关的图片和资料,让学生在warming-up时观看并讨论。围绕本模块话题展开听说读写的全面训练,使学生熟悉规则动词的过去式。
六、教学方法
以听为主要教学方式,以说为主要方法,通过同桌讨论和小组以及全班讨论,让每个学生充分练习口语和说的能力,并将听说读写有机地贯穿一体。设立一些语言环境,结合童话故事《金凤花姑娘和三只熊》,最后一起学习本模块的重、难点。
七、教学过程
Unit 1 Once upon a time…
Step1:Show my picture in the past . Warming-up and Lead in
Tell students about me and my first friends. Review the verb be in the Simple Past Tense and also arouse students’ interest.
Show students some pictures of fairy tales and lead in unit1 once upon a time. And then show the steps of this lesson.
Step2:Listen to a story and choose the right answer.

Step3:Listen again and check (√) the true sentences.

在听之前,处理句子中的难点,结合以前学过的be动词的一般过去时指出句子里面出现的行为动词的一般过去时。

Step5:Look at the pictures, listen and number the pictures in Activity 2 in the correct order.

And then listen and repeat.

Step 8: Ask students “Why did she like the small bowl ? ” and lead in Goldilocks’ principle and some pictures about the story on the Internet.
Step9:Watch the cartoon
Let's watch a cartoon in activity 3 and imitate.
Step 10 Group work
Practice telling the story Goldilocks and The Three Bears in group and choose the best story teller.
Step 11 Summary
Ask the students to sum up how to tell a story, show the answers on the blackboard.
Step12.Watch Snow white
Step13 Acting time.
Work in group of four and act the story out. One is Snow White, one is the story teller, two students as the animals. And give students some phrases to help them.
Step14Homework.
结束语:Listening to and telling stories can be the bridge(桥梁)to learn English.
Homework : Choose the just right story and try to tell it to others in English.
