Step 1 Warming up
Listen to a song “Yesterday once more “
[设计意图]: Giving students some questions will make them interested in what they will learn and know the aims clearly.
Step 2 Pre-reading
Look at the photos and think of words that can describe Yao Ming..
Answer some questions about famous people,
[设计意图]: Students enjoy the beautiful sights and will think more about what they see. They will interested in what they will learn.
Step 3 Reading
1. Ask and watch
Ask questions Where is it? How large is it? Where are they going tomorrow? Then watch a flash of the passage and answer the questions.
[设计意图]: Give students some questions and watch a flash , they will have aims to watch.
2. Read P1 and answer .
Read P2 and fill in the blanks.
Read P3 and tell F or T.
Read P4 and answer.
[设计意图]: Through reading students can master the teaching material and can improve the ability of getting information.
3.Read the passage and number the sentences in the correct order.
[设计意图]: After reading carefully of each paragraph, reading the whole passage will let them know the passage better and know the passage is in time order .
4. Complete the sentences with the correct form of the words.
[设计意图]:Students have know the knowledge of the unit and do the exercise to finish the task.
Step 4 Language points
1.Show some of the language points to students.

while others look like wild animals.

[设计意图]:Students may have some problems of the passage .Explain and solve them.
Show some object clause sentences to students and read them together. Pay attention to some verbs of object clause.
[设计意图]:The sentences and the verbs can let students know objects better.
Step 5 Exercise
Show some exercise to check what students have learned. Then check the answers.
[设计意图]: It can check students how to solve the problem and check if they have grasped the main points of the passage.
Step 6 Writing
Look at the table and write a short passage to introduce Zhangjiajie.
Work in groups of four to show what they have written.
[设计意图]: Students’communicative skills are greatly developed in this activity. What’s more, it puts the language into practice very well. As a foreign language, English can be used as a tool in their daily life.
Step 7 Homework
Write a short passage about your past life.
[设计意图]: It aims to consolidate what they have learnt in this lesson and widen their knowledge.
Step 8Watch and remember .
Watch a flash about travel and remember to protect the environment when they travel.
[设计意图]: It can improve the sense of protecting the environment.
Listen to the song carefully.
Students think of some words to describe Yao Ming and answer some questions.

五.学习效果方法设计
教学本质就是学生的学习活动,教师是组织者和指导者。确立以学生发展为中心的教学观,关注学生学习活动的过程及其状态,做好学生学习状态和效果的评价工作,从而改进教学,提高教学质量,全面促进学生的学习和发展。??
首先,弄清评价的内容。评价主要是对学生学习过程的评价,主要考察学生在课堂上的三种学习状态:(1)评价学生参与状态。一看多样性,即学生参与教学活动的形式是否多样,如师生谈话、合作交流、动手实践、自主探究等;二看广泛性,即学生是否很投入地参与教学全过程,每一位学生是否都有参与教学活动的机会;三看深刻性,即学生在参与教学活动中是否进行深层次的思考和交流。(2)评价学生的交流状态。一看是否有多边、丰富、多样的信息交流与反馈,能构建师生、生生和媒体之间的信息交流的立体结构;二要看是否有良好、有效的人际交往与合作的氛围,学生是否愿意互相交往,能够与人合作,懂得尊重别人、取长补短。(3)评价学生的达成状态。既要求帮助学生掌握知识,又要求促进学生的发展。?
其次,学生学习状态评价方法。在进行具体的评价时,可以考虑自然观察法,运用观察工具记录和描述记录相结合的方法,进行全过程观察和有重点观察,同时收集学生学习的反馈信息,以便对教学做出全面的评价。?
评价时应着重于对学生学习活动的观察,针对学生表现出来的各种行为和状况的特点,进行全面综合分析,以便对学生的学习状态做出一个基本准确的评价。
