一、教学目标
1.知识与能力
(1)理解、 掌握词汇: bank, museum, underground, tourist, along, across, opposite, turn, take, third, guidebook, bookshop,could, why not…?, Excuse me, in front of 等,掌握它们的基本含义及用法,并熟练运用。
(2)能听懂,读懂对话,能熟练地用英语问路和指路,正确地用英语描述方位。
(3) 当导游,介绍本地的旅游景点及旅行线路。
2.过程与方法
(1)创设真实的情境,以贴近学生生活的情境贯穿课堂的教学环节。让学生在用英语解决问题的同时锻炼自己的听、说交际能力。
(2)通过小组任务教学法、视听教学法、略读和精读的阅读策略进行学习。
3. 情感态度与价值观
学生围绕互助问路、指路、表达地点和方位等展开教学过程,引导学生乐于参与运用英语的实践活动,善于同别人交流沟通。结合校本教材旅游资源进行教学,唤起学生保护大自然的意识。
二、教学重点和难点
教学重点:用英语正确的描述方位,熟练掌握问路和指路的语言表达方式。
教学难点:正确地将本课所学的语言知识运用于生活实际中。
三、教学过程
Step1:lead in
Greetings.(师生进行日常问候)
2.The teacher shows students some pictures about the Forest Park ,and say:
Spring is coming.More and more people come to our town to enjoy the beautiful scene.A foreigner is coming ,too.(点出奥巴马的图片,以激发学生兴趣)Can you help him visit it?But,you must speak in English.(学生会笑、摇头,这时,引出新课)
设计意图:利用夏津森林公园的图片导入新课,校本教材与语言知识目标相结合,激发学生学习兴趣,并为本节课的情感目标埋下伏笔。
Step2:Pre-reading
师生问答:
T: Who has ever been to Beijing?
S: I have.
T:Can you tell me where it is?
S: yes,I can.
多媒体展示某些建筑物图片,教给学生建筑物及旅游景点的名称:
Tian’anmen Square ,
Wangfujing Dajie
National Stadium
Olympic Sports Center
设计意图:本环节通过对话和图片调动学生的记忆,增强其亲切感,并进而学习某些建筑物的英语表达法,为下一步学习对话做好准备。
Step3: Listening
please listen to the dialogue and underline the sentences about asking for directions( 问路的句子).
设计意图:教师利用听录音并划出文中关于问路的句子,一是让学生对全文拥有整体印象,二是培养学生听力技巧,让学生在听的同时学会抓关键信息。
Step4: Fast-reading
1.please read the dialogue as quickly as possible, then, find the sentences about giving directions(指路的句子).
2.Show and teach phrases about givings directions.
设计意图:快速朗读并划出对话中指路的句子,与上一环节的任务相呼应。教授指示方向的短语,为下一步精读做铺垫。
Step5: Careful-reading
1.Read the dialogue between Betty and the tourist .Fill in the blanks.
2.Listen to the dialogue between Lingling and the tourist .Choose the right answer and fill in the blanks.
3.Read the dialogue between the tourist and the policeman, then, speak with your deskmate.
4.Watch the video of the dialogue and complete the table.
设计意图:根据角色扮演把对话分为三部分,通过诵读--听力--对话--表格等不同的阅读方式任务层层深入,难度逐步加大,梳理文本。帮助学生深入学习语篇并对所学知识进行巩固。
Step6: Pair work
According to the map ,Work in pairs and exercise the dialogue.
设计意图:借助实物地图,为学生创造一个真实的交际环境去练习对话。而且地图还能够帮助学生比较容易的描述出实际方位,更直观。
Step6: Group work
Please work in group of four and make a new conversation to help the foreigner visit the Forest Park.
设计意图:教师通过小组讨论把本节课的目标语言应用于实践,让学生把所学目标语言内化为自己的知识,同时也能把目标语言灵活应用于生活中。并与导入相呼应,巩固了所学知识。
Step7:Homework
Write a short passage (within 60 words) about how to get to the Debai supermarket from your home.
设计意图:帮助学生巩固本节课所学基础知识和语言目标,并应用于实践,达到知识的输出。
