Dear Eric.

Maybe I could be someone who was really competent. “I can definitely help with that! Where are the
parts ”Following Grandma, I went into the room, where a computer sat surrounded by some scattered parts.
Rolling up my sleeves, I carefully connected everything. It was a piece of cake to me. “Done!”
I announced confidently. After a few adjustments, the internet was up and running. Now it was time to sell
the roses. I decided to start from my social media platform. I quickly uploaded photos, added descriptions,
and set prices. Before long, notifications started showing up — people were noticing. My abilities made a
difference ! (96 )
Within a few hours, orders for roses flooded in. “This is amazing, Jude!” Grandma cheered with joy as she
began bustling about, packing flowers. Mr. Jackson chuckled warmly

as he handed me another bunch to label. The energy was electric — everyone was on their
feet, moving quickly to keep up with the growing orders. The farm felt alive, and so did I. To our surprise,
the roses sold out in just half a day. “You’ve brought the farm into the twenty-first century, Jude,” Grandma
hugged me tightly. I realized that being competent wasn’t about avoiding mistakes. It was about facing them
head-on and making the most of my strengths. (100 )

W: No, I didn’t really like that color. So I choose green for my bedroom walls.
M: What about the kitchen Is it still dark red
W: Not anymore! We’ve painted it yellow. But we’ve repainted the sitting room — that’s got white walls
now.

M: Hello! My name is Harry Menzies. I ordered a pool table online from your shop last Tuesday
and it arrived only three days later. I was amazed and very happy at the speed of service, although the outer
packing was a little damaged. Then, unfortunately, the problems started.
I had to put together the pool table and this was quite difficult. The first major complaint I have is that the
instruction booklet included was written only in Spanish and Polish. I don’t think this is very helpful for me.
I can’t believe you wouldn’t include the instructions in English. Anyway, I managed to follow the diagrams
and get the pool table put together in about two hours.
Once I had put it together, I noticed the white ball wasn’t there. How am I supposed to be able to play any
games without the white ball It’s obvious that the table was faulty.
The roll of the balls was not very true — they kept curving to the left or the right so I think there’s a problem
with the table. So I don’t want to spend $800 for a pool table that can’t be used!
My customer number is 45993. The order number was GH12388. You can get in touch with me on my home
phone number: 348-28841. Please get in touch with me as soon as possible to let me know how we can
resolve these problems.
I really hope to hear from you as soon as possible.
