A Dear Friend
Tom was a wildlife expert. One day, when he was doing research in the forest, Tom noticed some blood on the ground. He looked around and found a baby deer lying beside a big tree. There was a wound in its leg. When the deer saw Tom, it tried to run away but couldn’t even get up. Thinking that it would be difficult for the deer to recover on its own, Tom gave the deer some quick treatment and took it home. Tom took good care of the deer. He checked its wound every day and noticed the wound was gradually growing into a mark in the shape of a heart.
