Xu Xiake’s travel route

Xu Xiake(1587—1641), was a Chinese travel writer and geographer of the Ming Dynasty known best for his famous geographical diaries noted for his bravery and humility(谦逊). He traveled throughout China for more than 30 years, documenting his travels which would be compiled into the "The Travel Diaries Xu Xiake". Xu's writing used narrative and prose(散文)styles of writing to portray one's travel experiences.
