由一个句子充当宾语,我们称之为宾语
从句。
e.g. I know the answer.(名词做宾语)
I know that Tom gets the answer.
(句子做宾语, 叫做宾语从句)二、宾语从句的连接词
由陈述句变化而来用that引导, that
可省略;
由一般疑问句变化而来, 用if或whether
引导;
由特殊疑问句变化而来, 用该特殊疑问词

永远都是陈述句语序

主句是一般现在时,从句可以用任何时态.
主句是一般过去时,从句必须是过去时态的一种:

人称代词要随合理的逻辑而自然变化.
六、由who, what, how, which, whose, where, when,
why等引导的宾语从句,特殊疑问词作为引导词,
没有疑问的作用,但本身的意思不变。要注意
时态的一致和陈述语序。

宾语从句就是一个句子在复合句中作动词或介词的宾语,在主句与从句之间有一个引导词,其结构为“主语+谓语动词+引导词+主语+谓语+其他”。如:
He said that he was listening to the weather report. 他说他正在听天气预报。
【引导词】宾语从句的引导词是由从句的句子种类决定的。若从句为陈述句,则引导词为that, that无实际意义,在口语和非正式文体中常省略;宾语从句具有一般疑问句意义时用if或whether引导(与or not, 不定式及介词连用时用whether,不用if);宾语从句具有特殊疑问含义时用what等连接代词或when等连接副词引导,它们在句中充当一定的句子成分,不能省略。如:
He says (that) he wants to speak to the headmaster. 他说他想和校长说话。
Could you tell us if / whether he will really come here? 你能告诉我他是否真的来这儿吗?
【作战秘诀】 有时很难从题中看出原句式。一般来说,若主句是陈述句,并且谓语动词是表示肯定意义的词(如hear, say, think, decide, tell等)时,引导词用that;若主句中的谓语动词具有否定意义或疑问意义的词或主句为一般疑问句时,引导词一般为连接代词或连接副词(who, where, when等)。
【时态战术】宾语从句谓语动词的时态由主句谓语动词的时态决定,它通常分三种情况:主句是祈使句或主句的谓语动词是一般现在时或一般将来时,从句的谓语动词可根据具体情况选用相应的任何时态;若主句为一般过去时,从句要用相应的某种过去时态;若从句表示的是客观事实、普遍真理、自然现象等,从句的谓语动词不受主句时态的限制,只用一般现在时。如:
Please tell me when he came here. 请告诉我他什么时候来这儿的。
I thought he had gone to the town today. 我以为今天他进城去了。
Galileo insisted that the earth moves round the sun. 伽利略坚持认为地球是绕太阳运行。

【有序作战】 宾语从句一律使用陈述句语序,不论从句由哪个引导词引导,或主句是陈述句还是疑问句,从句均为“引导词+主语+谓语+其他”。如:

【保持清醒】特殊疑问词作从句主语时,语序不变。如:

When I was at university, I studied very hard. But a lot of my friends did very little work. Some did just enough to pass the exams. Others didn't do quite enough. Fred Baines was such a student. He spent more time drinking in the Tea House than working in the library.
Once at the end of the term, we had to take an important test in Chinese. The test had 100 questions. Beside each question we had to write "True" or "False". While I was studying in my room the night before the test, Fred was watching TV. Fred usually worried a lot the night before a test. But on that night he looked very easy. Then he told me of his idea. "It's very simple. There are 100 questions and I have to get 50 right to pass the test. I'll take a coin into the room. The next day, Fred came happily into the examination room. As he sat tossing a coin for half an hour, he wrote down his answers. Then he left, half an hour before the rest of us.
