参考范文
一
The person I admire most is Li Shangyin, an outstanding Chinese poet of the late Tang
Dynasty. Li Shangyin was born around A.D. 813 and died around A.D. 858. During his life, he created nearly 600 poems, including masterpieces like A Note on a Rainy Night to a Friend in the North and The Sad Zither, making a great contribution to Chinese literature. Because his works are obscure and allusive, translating them properly is very difficult. It is worth mentioning that his “untitled poems” are very impressive, which have had a great influence on later generations.
Regarded as one of the greatest poets of the Tang Dynasty, Li Shangyin will be
remembered forever.
