2.能用“Trees can ... ...”表达种树的好处。
2学情分析
学生在六年级上册的Unit 8 We shouldn't waste water一课中已经谈论过如何保护环境,而本课探讨的是种树对环境的好处,两课都跟环境保护有关,利用学生已学的知识对本课将学内容进行迁移,学生将会觉得亲切而兴趣极大。
3重点难点
1.能听懂、会说、认读新单词Tree Planting Day, air, place;
2. 能听懂、会说词组plant trees ,keep the air clean,keep us cool,make the place beautiful。 3. 理解、记忆B部分词组。

本课通过复习'Whatshouldwedoforourselves?'引出环保话题“WhatshouldwedofortheEarth?”,由学生的回答点出主题“Weshouldplantmoretree.”层层牵引,自然过渡,让学生感到即亲切又有话可说。本课重点操练句型“Treescan......”,通过带读、齐读、点名读等方式让学生掌握好该句型,学生积极性较高,但如果能适时加入比赛和游戏环节,相信能更好地激发学生的兴趣,收到更好的效果。在游戏和练习环节中,学生基本上能自主运用句型“Treescan......”表达自己的环保意识,基础好的同学甚至可以运用"and,so"等词进行复杂的句型表述,自主表达能力有了一定的提高。本课的教学思路清晰,重点突出,课件及教学环节的设计有新颖之处,但还有一些遗憾,比如练习题中出现了一处小错误,没有做好课堂总结等,还需要进一步改进。有人曾说“课堂教学就是一门不完美的艺术。”正是因为不完美,才让我拥有了不断探索和努力的动力,真正明白什么是“任重道远”。
