2学情分析
六年级的孩子学习英语虽然有了两三年了，但是对于这篇关于太空的科学性语篇比较陌生，这类的语篇文章比较的抽象难懂，所以我应用了图片和视频动画片帮助学生理解、学习。同时，精美的太空图片和形象生动的视频动画，也能吸引孩子，让学生掌握重点、突破难点，继续保持对英语学习的兴趣。
3重点难点
1、重点：
能用“Our Earth looks like this in space .”和“The Earth is like a ball.”描述某物看起来像什么。
2、难点：
（1）动词过去式变化的规则，尤其是部分单词的不规则变化。
（2）用已有的科学知识讨论和描述太空和地球的特征。

Step 2 presentation
1、情境创设：参观太空博物馆，放动画视频。
2、New words
（1）教师出示太阳、月亮和星星的图片，学习新单词，并引导学生猜测这次参观的地方。
T: What is this ?
Ss: The sun .
The moon.
T: What are those ?
Ss: They’re stars .
Ｔ：Look at the stars ! They are beautiful ! What do they look like ?
The stars look like a lion 板书：look like
（2）展示图片，板书Space Museum , 带读。
（3） 展示图片引出句子，板书watch a film about the Earth带读.

Step 3 Retell the story
1、教师提供Peter两天的活动情况表格，带领学生一起回忆课文内容。然后让学生根据表格中的关键词和三幅插图，四人一组复述课文。
2、教师对学生的复述做出评价，给予肯定与鼓励，培养学生对语篇的概括与复述能力。
Step 4 Look and say
教师展示多张图片，请学生尝试用学过的单词和句型来描述从太空中看到地球。
