My First Day at Junior High
When I walked into Sunshine Junior High on September 1st, my heart was beating fast. This was the start of my new school life. A teacher with kind eyes greeted me at the gate. “Welcome! I am Ms. Lee, your homeroom teacher,” she said. Her warm smile made me feel less nervous.
In our first class, Ms. Lee explained the school rules. “Being polite is very important,” she told us. She asked us to always say “please” and “thank you”. I wrote this down in my notebook because I wanted to remember it.
