句型
1.What if no one talks to me |
what if...是个省略用法的句型,在口语中十分常见。完整的结构应该是What will/would happen if...或What will I/you/we/she/he/it/they do
What if...,可以翻译为“如果……怎么办?/要是……会怎么样呢?”。if后面的句子可用陈述语气(通常用一般现在时)。
What if it rains tomorrow 要是明天下雨怎么办?
What if somebody decides to break the rules 如果有人决定打破这些规则怎么办?
特别注意
该句型还可以用于提出建议或邀请,可以翻译为“如果……怎么样?”。
What if we moved the sofa over here Would that look better 要是我们把沙发挪到这边来会怎么样?那样看上去会不会好一些?

“find+宾语+宾补”这一结构中的宾语补足语可以由名词(短语)、形容词、副词、介词短语、现在分词(短语)、过去分词(短语)以及不定式短语to be...等来充当。
You will find it a very interesting book.你会发现它是一本非常有趣的书。(名词短语)
Teachers found Tom smart.老师们发现汤姆很聪明。(形容词)
When I got home at night,I found the light on.(副词)
When he woke up, he found himself in hospital.(介词短语)
When I came into the classroom, I found some of my classmates already studying.(现在分词)
