什么是宾语补足语?
宾语补足语是补足宾语意义的句子成分。
形式:及物动词 + 宾语 + 宾语补足语
We call him Jim.
We must keep our school clean every day .

Can you tell Jane to sing us a song
Let us have a rest.
I hear somebody singing in the next room.
When we got to school, we saw the door locked.
常用分词做宾补的动词
第一类:
doing 表示主动, 动作在进行
+ 宾语+ do 表示主动,动作全过程\jingc 或动作经常性
done 表示被动或动作已完成
I heard them singing a song when I passed the classroom.
I heard them sing a song last week.
I hear them sing the song quite often.
I heard the song sung in French.
He came back and found all the students gone.

常用分词做宾补的动词
第二类:
使役动词(make,let,have)+宾语+ do,表示“让\使...做某事”
Paul's father made him paint the house.

1 In sentence (a), a woman is swimming at night.
2 In sentence (b), people are frightened of sharks.
3 In sentence (a), a woman is swimming. In other words, the woman does the action of swimming. So the author uses
-ing. But in sentence (b), people are frightened. As a result, passive voice is used. So the author uses -ed.
