22 October
Dear Diary,
Recently we have been learning about friendship in our English classes. My teacher's words set me thinking: what makes a real good friend. As I see it, the following qualities are of great importance.
A good friend should be dependable. Whenever I am in trouble, I can turn to her and she will come to my assistance without hesitation. My best friend Jane is such a person. When I was sick the other day, she accompanied me to hospital even though that meant she had to skip lessons.
A good friend also should be loyal. I can trust Jane with my secrets, knowing that she will never betray me. She is the person who stands by my side whatever happens.
Besides, a good friend should be forgiving. Since we teenagers are going through huge physical and mental changes, it's quite normal for us to committ mistakes or do somebody wrong. In such case, it's of great importance that friends can forgive each other. Then, we can maintain our firendship and make it stronger.
A friend is easy to make, but a real lasting friendship is hard to seek. Dear Diary, I am so grateful that I have got such a good friend.
My version
THANKS~
