TOTAL MARK
There is a small bike lying quietly in our garage. lt is quite old and l can no longer ride it, but l still keep it there, as it brings back a sweet memory.
Para1 : Many years ago, it was a Sunday morning on my sixth birthday. My father bought me a new bike. l could not wait to get on it and learn how to ride, so l begged my father to teach me in the park. After l sat on the new bike, my father helped me put my two hands on the handle bars and my feet on the pedals. Then, he pushed the bike so that the pedals started to move. l was scared! But my father kept encouraging me. l could cycle around the garden with his hand holding the bike. It was amazing.
Para2:Gradually,my father thought I was ready to ride it by myself so he took his hand off the bike. Suddenly, I lost balance, and fell on the ground. It hurt a lot and I started to cry. My father encouraged me to stand up, be brave and try again. Gradually, I was able to ride the bike more skillfully. I kept riding the bike until it was too small for me. It is still one of my most precious possessions, for not only was it my first bike, but a symbol of my courage as well as my father’s love. And I learnt that love has a great power.
Thank You !
